What is Wordtracker All About?

Wordtracker is an SEO keyword tool used to assist you in gaining top search engine ranking positions.

In order to attract targeted organic traffic to your site in order to build a successful biz.

You simply enter a search term into the tool and it comes up with heaps of long tail keyword ideas.

Terms, from Google, YouTube, and Amazon, that you can write blog post content around.

However, I find ‘WT’ a little misleading because it states it’s “FREE”, when in fact, the freebie option is very limited.

You get very few searches to use, it only provides you with 20 suggestions from each search, and the metrics aren’t fully explained either.

Wordtracker Free Keyword Suggestions

In addition, you get 7 days to try out all the features for free when you choose a paid plan.

So ‘WT’ isn’t 100% free at all.

Who Exactly Will Wordtracker Benefit?

It’s for any internet-based business owner, blogger, freelance content writer, SEO expert…

Or anyone working for a marketing firm and building businesses on behalf of clients.

Pretty much any man and his dog who wants to make money from getting content ranked in the search engines will be able to benefit from the software.

How Does The Wordtracker Keyword Tool Work?

There’s a handful of features available for helping you find and manage the long tail keywords you need for getting rankings:

#1: Search

This is the main keyword search box.

Where you type one or several phrases into it at once and it pulls up hundreds or even thousands of phrase ideas for your content

Keyword Research Feature

You can view keyword data from different sources, various countries and even specific months.

Additionally, there’s the option to find phrases in any order, inside a search term, and also choose exact keyword only.

Last but not least, there are 2 boxes that can be checked or unchecked for Adult Keywords as well as Plurals.

#2: Filter

When it comes to filtering the keyword results, there are options to hide or show:

Filters/metrics for Volume, Competition, IAAT, KEI, Include and Exclude Keyword, KW questions, and also Cost Per Click (CPC).

Keyword Metrics

(IAAT = In Anchor And Title. KEI = Keyword Effectiveness Index).

#3: Save

Check the boxes of the phrases you wish to save and simply save them to a new or existing project list.

#4: Projects

Projects keep your lists grouped together and far more organized.

So you can easily locate your work instead of wasting time trying to find a needle in a haystack.

#5: Lists

This is basically an overview of all the lists you have compiled.

And provides you with various options for managing them more effectively.

#6: Export

Here, you have the ability to download your selected words in CSV format so there’s always a copy to access on your computer.

However, the only downside is that the ‘WT’ tool doesn’t provide a ranking feature.

One, for monitoring your blog’s rankings in Google for certain keyword terms.

Any Training & Support Thrown in With Wordtracker?

When it comes to training…

‘WT’ provides you with a ‘Quick Start Guide’ to the research platform that walks you through the features.

You’ve also got an additional choice of watching introduction videos on:

Using the tool, understanding the metric numbers, and applying the filtering options.

For your third option, there’s the “Wordtracker Academy” that covers subjects like:

Learning SEO, learning about keyword research, link building, social media marketing, writing content, Pay Per Click (PPC), resources and other tools.

As for help and support, you can:

  1. Have a nosy through the FAQ page
  2. Chat live with a member of the support team during
  3. Send an email to the team
  4. Pick up the phone and dial
  5. Write to their postal address

So you’ve certainly got a great big bunch of training/support resources to pick from.

For taking advantage of the tool and making your business a profitable one.

How Much is Wordtracker Gonna Cost?

There are 3 tool pricing plans on offer:

  • BRONZE = $27 each month (But you must subscribe for a minimum of 3 months)
  • SILVER = $69/month or $449/year
  • GOLD = $99/month or $640/year

However, not forgetting a 7-day free trial for whatever plan you choose.

If you decide on an annual membership option, you’ll save yourself a few bucks.

PROS vs CONS of ‘WT’

PROS

  • 7-day free trials with all 3 membership plans
  • Free “Get Traffic” course bonus upon signing up
  • The software doesn’t require downloading
  • Quick keyword results and data displayed

Final Thoughts: Is Wordtracker Worth it?…

A Big Thumbs UpOkay, I’m gonna lay my cards on the table here.

I think Wordtracker has some great features.

And the keyword research platform on a whole, is an excellent tool for the right individual.

It will definitely dig up some awesome long tail keywords.

That you can use for first-page website/blog rankings in Google, Bing, and Yahoo.

However, my only issue is that no feature is included for monitoring your site’s rankings in the search engines.

Which means you’ll have to splash out more money on another tool.

From my perspective, ‘WT’ isn’t the best tool on the market.

But it’s still a lot better than a number of research platforms I’ve used over the years.

Okay, ready for the ace card up my sleeve?!

There is an SEO keyword tool called “Jaaxy”.

Which really simplifies the research process, provides some amazing features (including a rank checker), and is incredibly easy to use.

Especially for affiliate marketers and newbies…
