What is KeywordSpy All About?

As the name suggests, KeywordSpy (KS) is feature-rich software enabling you to spy on your competitors’ when it comes to the main keyword aspects of their PPC advertising campaigns in the search engines.

You’ll be using the software to discover ad copy and also compile lists of the exact same profitable and cost-effective keyword terms that your rivals are using.

With the tool, you definitely have the opportunity to compete with the big boys and claim your own slice of the PPC pie.

Who is The Software Ideal For?

‘KS’ is for any marketer and online business owner who’s struggling to create profitable PPC campaigns within the top 3 search engines.

It’s also designed as a tool for SEO marketers to investigate various parameters, so they can discover what techniques are being used by other sites to get indexed on the first page of Google.

So whether you’re doing PPC and/or SEO, the software gives you the best of both worlds.

What Features Are You Able to Access?

#1: When it comes to the main feature, you have the option to lookup the domain, keyword, destination URL, and also ad copy statistics for any website that you’d like to spy on in selected countries.

KeywordSpy Tool Features

#2: Discover lists of the top sites and keywords by accessing full reports on paid ad spenders, highest costs per click a day, keyword numbers, the most budget changes and other reports.

#3: Dive into more than 300 different affiliate program networks to discover the top products.

You’ll be shown the total number of products and ads they’re promoting, and you’ll also see which networks are dominating the market.

In addition, you’ll uncover affiliate reports based on the number of keywords used to promote the top products and also the number of affiliates who are promoting them.

The feature allows you to spy on the Clickbank, Commission Junction, LinkShare, PayDotCom, ClixGalore, ShareASale, MAXBounty, and TradeDoubler networks.

But SHHH! 😉

#4: There’s a free ‘KS’ SEO/PPC plugin you can install on your browser so you can easily conduct your research on websites when surfing the web.

You also have the opportunity to track PPC and SEO keywords in real-time in Google, Yahoo, and Bing.

The tracking tool will give you a detailed overview so you’re armed with everything you need for successful marketing campaigns in the search engines.

Sounds great, Neil! But do I also get training?

Luckily, ‘KS’ does provide you with 15 walk-through video tutorials on getting started with ‘KS’ and also getting to grips with using every one of the software tools/features mentioned above for online success.

OK, How About Support?

Yep, support is definitely available!

You can either browse through the training materials section for different ‘KS’ topics, contact the support team by sending an email or even use the live chat function to speak with a help rep.

Personally, I think live chat is the best option because you can get a response to your questions fairly quickly.

How Much is KeywordSpy Gonna Cost?

There are various membership options to cater for whatever needs you have as a PPC advertiser.

Firstly, you can sign up for a free trial. But as I state in the cons below, you won’t get much use out of it because it is very limited.

Then come the paid plans:

  1. Research will cost you $89.95 per month
  2. Tracking is $89.95 per month
  3. Professional (which includes the top 2 options) is $139.95 every month
  4. Agency & Enterprise is $995 every month

As an optional add-on, there’s a product called “Affiliate Boot Camp.”

It’s basically a step-by-step training course teaching you the secrets of the Super Affiliates for making big money on the internet.

The only problem is, I couldn’t find the cost of this additional training when adding it to my cart because PayPal stated: “The recipient was unable to receive money“.

And there were no other payment options available, which I found a bit odd.

Wanna see the best platform I use which gives you websites, tools (including keyword tool), step-by-step training + 24/7 support for building a highly profitable Affiliate Marketing biz around your hobby or passion?…

  • There are plenty of great features
  • Getting started training videos to watch
  • Discover invaluable data on your opponents’ ad campaigns
  • Help & support is available
  • Some benefits for SEO marketers

Closing Thoughts: Is KeywordSpy Worth it?…

A Big Thumbs Up‘KS’ really is an awesome tool for any PPC marketer to gain in-depth insights into their competitors paid ad operations.

With a number of fantastic features, great video training, and a good level of help and support to top it off  – you really can’t go wrong with it.

In my opinion, I think ‘KS’ gives you what you need for having the edge over your competition and making a killing online with your online biz.

However, the only issue I have is with the pricing of the software, because from a newbie’s perspective, it’s expensive!

The Bottom Line: If you are considering paid search engine advertising, then I highly recommend taking advantage of ‘KS’ because it can be an effective tool.

Tip: When it comes to PPC itself, start out with a small budget and create small controlled campaigns because burning through tons of cash is very easily done, especially with Google Adwords.

Trust me, I’ve been there before.

But if your focus is also on getting organic search engine rankings and driving floods of free targeted traffic to your website or blog…
