Mr. Brunson & Mr. Edwards: Who Are These Dudes?
If you’re unfamiliar with Russell Brunson, he’s only one of the world’s leading sales funnel experts.
So no biggie! 😛
Russell isn’t just the guy who provides all types of Biz owners with funnel building software (ClickFunnels) for making more sales…
But he’s produced numerous products, that send folks along the right track to building PROFITABLE funnels.
Check out his amazing collection of freebies so far:
- DotCom Secrets (book)

Now, as for Russell’s sidekick (Jim Edwards), he’s the creator of Funnel Scripts (which goes hand-in-hand with ClickFunnels)…
Who knows a thing or two about writing killer sales copy for absolutely any niche/industry you’re in.
With both their skills combined, they sure know how to create profit-generating funnels that knock your socks off!
My apologies for being biased (lol), but it’s true.
In fact, chuck Steve Larson (funnel expert and founder of Affiliate Outrage) into the mix, and you’ll have the 3 Amigos working alongside one another!
What’s Funnel Fridays All About, You Ask?
‘FF’ is one of Brunson’s latest and greatest freebies, where he teams up with Edwards each and every Friday to build a sales funnel, LIVE on camera.
Basically, the duo picks one lucky winner each week.
Who will have his or her own sales copy written, funnel built, and launched in just 30 minutes, for free.
YUP, for $0, Zip, Nada, not a dicky bird.
Well, they’re gonna give it a bloody good go anyway!
If you’re unfamiliar with the term “sales funnel” – it’s basically a process of sending a stranger through a series of steps that turn them into a customer.
But if the pair fails miserably at getting an entire funnel up and running in half an hour…
Then they give you permission to poke fun – throwing digital eggs and cabbages at them.
It’s an awesome opportunity to see “experts” in action behind the curtains…
Combining both ClickFunnels and Funnel Scripts to quickly and easily build a funnel every weekend.
I guess even if you don’t get hand-picked to have a free funnel built around your product/service…
You’re still gonna get the inside scoop on the creation of high-converting and profitable squeeze pages/funnels, Ad copy, and also email copy.
Once you enter your email or even use Facebook to subscribe to ‘FF’, you’re not just gonna get notified of upcoming episodes.
But you’ll also gain access to heaps of old episodes for plenty of “golden nuggets” to take away.
Who Funnel Fridays is NOT Suitable For…
If your intention is to “get-rich-quick” from joining ‘FF’, then forget it because there is no fast and easy path to wealth on the internet.
It doesn’t exist.
YES, you may be one of the lucky few to get a ‘Done-For-You’ business in a box from Russell and Jim.
BUT you’ll still need to invest time, effort, and money into marketing the heck out of your funnel, building a list, and engaging with your subscribers.
But whatever your line of business, whether it’s Affiliate or Network Marketing, eCommerce or even traditional brick and mortar style, to name a few models…
‘FF’ can help you to launch your Biz into orbit and make you profitable over time – you just need to be patient among other things.
Final Thoughts: Is Funnel Fridays Worth it?…
In my opinion, whether you get chosen to have a funnel built for you or not, you’re gonna get TONS of value to take away from Funnel Fridays.
Because you’ll see Russell and Jim creating profit-generating funnels for other folks, which will give you plenty of inspiration.
For some peeps, I guess attempting to build sales funnels can be a nightmare and a half.
Especially not knowing the best and most effective elements, colour schemes, sales copy, and overall design to use.
So if you are one of those struggling to get a profitable funnel off the ground (or even wanna learn how to get started), ‘FF’ won’t just push you in the right direction…
But will save you time, money, and frustration when trying to go it alone.
Hey, we all need a helping hand with effectively marketing our products services in the online/offline world.
So it’s definitely a godsend to have Entrepreneurs and experts like Brunson and Edwards in our corner.
Wouldn’t you agree?
The Bottom Line: The weekly episodes won’t cost you a single penny to watch for pulling heaps of golden ideas from. So what’s to lose?
Joining ‘FF’ is certainly a no-brainer, in my book. Highly Recommended.
But What if Funnel Fridays Isn’t Your Cuppa?…
OK, so the sales funnel route may not float your boat, which is fine because each to their own, as they say.
But there are other awesome ways for building a brand online, reaching more folks, and bringing more customers into your business.
One such method is called “blogging” (the same strategy I use for building a successful affiliate marketing Biz) – which isn’t just the cheapest option…
But will enable you to scale your Biz using free targeted traffic from Google, Bing, and Yahoo.
So if you want websites, step-by-step training & 24/7 support for creating a profitable blog from scratch…

Your Friend, Neil 😀
If you have any questions or thoughts to share on ‘FF’ – We’d LOVE to hear from you below…
Gotta admit Neil,
I used to think of Russell as a huge scammer. To be honest, most of his programs are in a way a scam with those huge hidden upsells, but some of them are quite useful like the DotCom Secrets book he released previously. I can definitely vouch for his expertise creating top-notch sales funnels, can’t wait to give ClickFunnels a go!
In all fairness, Russell’s business model is “sales funnels”. So I guess in order to practice what he preaches and also show others his ways, he offers “upsells” that are all invaluable. Yes, some will be pricey. But others will also be cost-effective.
In my opinion, the REAL scam artists of those behind “high-ticket money-making schemes” who abuse the sales funnel model by selling products for $1,000s – $10,000s just for the sheer hell of making a buck. So in comparison, Russell is 100% “LEGIT”.
Indeed, Clickfunnels is AWESOME and worth every penny, especially when you have a high-converting funnel in place! 😉
Hey Neil,
thanks for introducing to this great offer, I just signed in for funnel Fridays through your link. It’s always great to see how both of them are creating squeeze pages live, combining both ClickFunnels and Funnel scripts.
Thanks also for providing the list of freebies by Russell Brunson. What is the difference between WA’s Bootcamp & 100-Day Affiliate Bootcamp? Which one do you find more useful?
Regards,
Jivita
Hi, Jivita – it’s a pleasure! 🙂
Cool, you’ll certainly find Funnel Fridays educational and also humorous at times!
Although the WA and CF Bootcamps both teach you how to become a VERY profitable affiliate marketer, each one teaches a different Internet Marketing strategy.
The WA Bootcamp shows you how to start a blog, build it out with content, and attract free traffic from the search engines via SEO which is a really cost-effective approach.
As for Russell’s Bootcamp, the main emphasis is on creating a sales funnel, sending paid traffic to your funnel via Facebook ads, etc, and building an email list which is more costly than SEO. But just like SEO, it also pays off in the long-term.
In all honesty, I think both methods are useful lol. But at the end of the day, it all boils down to personal preferences and also budgets.
Neil
Funnel Fridays sounds like a great idea, I tried Clickfunnels but could not afford the budget as yet but think its a pretty neat system for expert marketers.
I hope to be in a position to use it one day.
Funnel Fridays is good as it gives us a chance to learn about funnels for free and get educated to be able to one day go on to clickfunnels? DO you feel that is the thinking behind it?
Yeah man, FF is super duper cool! What better way to spend your Friday, hey? 😉
Although you get 2 weeks to try ClickFunnels for free (which is a HUGE bonus), it’s best that you have a budget to cover at least a few months of use before signing up for the trial so it gives you plenty of time to get to grips with the software and create “profitable” funnels, in my opinion.
But with that said, FF can give you some golden nuggets for profiting sooner.
YUP, you’ve hit the nail on the head with that statement, Darren! In fact, ALL of Russell Brunson’s products are designed to help you with the funnel-building process, whether you choose to roll with Clickfunnels or any other software.
This sounds like an excellent chance to look over the shoulders of two extremely successful marketers, and ‘pinch’ the tactics they’ve used to succeed time and time again!
One thing I’m a little confused about is the fact it sounds like a bit of a raffle – from what I can gather (and I may well be wrong!), only one person gets to see this in motion every Friday?
Or, is it that everyone can watch the tutorial, but only one lucky person can get the funnel built exclusively for them?
Sorry to ask – I just couldn’t get that from what I read!
Chris.
Indeed! You don’t often get the opportunity to see expert marketers build potentially profitable campaigns in front of your eyes for “free”. So FF is a blessing, in my book.
I apologize if I left you feeling confused, Chris! Lol. Basically, everyone who subscribes to FF gets to watch the process of a sales funnel being built for another lucky subscriber once a week.
But whether you get chosen to have a funnel built or not, you’re gonna get heaps of value to take away from the episodes anyway.
Neil
Yes, Clickfunnels is a great tool to enhance the website and direct sales. You had offered a really great tool for us. I would say people who are serious about e-com would be going to invest in tools similar to this 1.
The targeted approach would help us to focus on the scope of the market. It would really create a rapid flow if things are done right. The consultations are vital for people who are still not able to grasp the market and target.
You’ve definitely got that right, Forgg! 🙂
Whether folks are actual product creators or affiliate marketers, etc, Funnel Fridays + Clickfunnels combined can potentially make them hugely profitable! It’s just a case of those peeps being willing to invest in the sales funnel software and implementing what they learn from what both Russell and Jim teach.
I agree, some folks need marketers like Russell and Jim to show them HOW to create funnels that produce sales because building a funnel is one thing but not knowing how to build a “profitable” can break someone’s business. So “mentorship” is absolutely crucial, and that applies to EVERY marketing strategy on the web.
I recently joined the Affiliate Bootcamp thanks to your review on it. It’s very interesting as before I didn’t have a clue what funnels were all about.
After building my first funnel in the course it starts to make sense, so I agree with you that if the experts themselves will make a funnel for you, it is excellent value!
So guess I’m subscribing to those Funnel Friday sessions! 🙂
WOW, that’s AWESOME news, Jurgen!
I guess not every marketer/business owner has grasped the idea of sales funnels. But it’s great that you have, man! 🙂
Sweet, and it’s even better when you don’t have to pay a single cent for the training/knowledge from Russell and Jim either!
Hi,
Thanks for letting us know about those Funnel Fridays. I seldom win anything, but anyway I don’t think it’s about winning – it’s just a great opportunity to learn how to create those funnels, if I understood it correctly from your article.
I think it’s also possible to buy it, right? Could you write something about the prices?
Sandy
Hey, Sandy!
I’m happy to help!
Hey, who knows, you may be one of lucky few who gets selected for a free custom-built funnel! 😉
But I also agree on the “non-winning” part because you already have the chance to be a winner with the FF video episodes anyway. “EVERYONE’S a WINNER, so come on down!!!” LOL.
FF is “free”. But if you’re referring to the actual ClickFunnels software, then get my review here for the prices.
Neil
ClickFunnels is a great tool, but a bit on the expensive side for me at the moment, so I’m overjoyed to hear that Russell has FF up every Friday.
It sounds absolutely amazing to be learning to build a funnel from the ground up. I could take what I learn from the Live webinars, take it to my free squeeze page and start designing high-converting funnels for myself.
Thanks for sharing!
Indeed, CF is super cool! 🙂
I can see how some folks (particularly newbies and those with small budgets) consider CF as expensive. But you’ve also gotta see things from another angle. For your monthly fee, you get TONS of value for building funnels with CF and your profits from your biz can cover those fees anyway.
Glad to hear Funnel Fridays is right up your street! And yeah, even if you’re using other Squeeze page/funnel building software, the value you get from the videos will definitely help.
You’re welcome, Reyhana!
Hi Neil, thanks for this post. I found this rather interesting but unfortunately, I am not any clearer on an answer to a question I have.
I have no idea and would like someone to simply explain to me what a sales funnel actually is. Sorry for sounding so thick here but it always interests me to find out what it is.
I really think that this is a great idea that these two guys are doing and it will certainly be a help to a lot of people who are like myself and maybe don’t fully understand what it is they are talking about.
You’re welcome, Cheryl!
LOL – You’re definitely NOT thick, but just a newbie who needs to learn the ropes of funnels. Hey, we all have to start from somewhere when it comes to internet marketing.
Put simply, a sales funnel starts off with a squeeze page for adding subscribers to your email list, and then they’re walked through a series of invaluable offers created/picked by you. It’s what’s known as a “value ladder”. The more offers you include in the funnel = the more value you give to your subscribers = the more profitable you can become.
If you want to know more on the whole sales funnel process, check out DotCom Secrets here.
Indeed, and even better if you win a Done-For-You funnel from the guys!
