Summary:
Chris Farrell Membership is a platform that equips newbies with the resources for building profitable affiliate marketing businesses from scratch.
In my opinion, it’s a pretty good place for learning the ropes of affiliate marketing and making some money online.
However, there are also some shortcomings with the platform, that I highlight within my FULL review below.
But the price really isn’t that bad for the value you get inside CFM, at the end of the day.
But before getting stuck in…

What’s Chris Farrell Membership All About?
Put simply, Chris Farrell Membership is an Internet Marketing training platform.
One, that shows you various strategies for making money online in the Affiliate Marketing arena.
Within Chris’s training, he covers the 3-steps to generating an income:
- Find a Profitable Niche
- Build a List
- Introduce Your List to Products
These 3 areas are the backbone of ‘CFM’ which we’ll be diving into very shortly.
Mr. Farrell also claims that his program is:
“The one-stop-shop to creating a successful business the simple way” and even “voted #1 online income system“.
But are Chris’s claims really true or is he just tooting his own horn, that’s the million-dollar question?
You’ll be pleased to know that I signed up for the 7-day trial for 5 bucks to get a behind-the-scenes look.
So I can give you some honest answers…

So whether or not you’ve been scammed and you’re looking for somewhere to get started online…
Chris will show you the ropes of building a successful internet-based biz from scratch.

How Does Chris Farrell Membership Work For $?
Once you gain access to your members’ area…
There’s a bunch of tabs and ‘Money Making Labs’ which provide you with heaps of step-by-step video training tutorials from Chris.
#1: Quick Start
Under this tab, there are 6 short videos:

Basically, the videos cover the nuts n’ bolts of how ‘CFM’ works for an income:
Navigating around the site, the layout of the training, and swinging by the forum to say a quick “Hi” to other members.
#2: 10 Minutes To Success
This section is the meat on the bone.
Where Chris provides you with 31 days of up to 10-minute videos for helping you get an online business up and running and ready to make money.
The tutorials cover the following topics:

- Domain Names Explained & Purchasing a Domain

- Congratulations!
In a nutshell, you’ll be creating a squeeze page for building an email list to promote various products to your subscribers for commissions.
The Upside to All of This
Mr. Farrell starts you off on the right foot by showing you how to build a business in the “how to write a screenplay” niche.
It’s a profitable niche (especially in Los Angeles) according to Londoner, Chris, who currently lives in LA.
Additionally, he provides Done-For-You squeeze page templates, images, free gift, and emails to blast out to your subscribers.
The idea is to help you hit the ground running quickly like Road Runner. MEEP MEEP!
The great thing about ‘CFM’ is that you can apply the training to other niches, thus creating multiple businesses and income streams.
Can you say “KA-CHING?!”
In my opinion, Chris does a fantastic job of walking you through a step-by-step process of starting an online biz and preparing it for liftoff.
The training is easy-peasy to follow, I must say.
And what I especially liked is that he gives you actionable steps to do, and each video also leads on to the next one until you finish the course.
But Here’s The Downside
If you’re gonna be making money in a “chosen-for-you” niche that you don’t have a passion for, you’ll get bored quickly.
Secondly, if you do choose your own niche…
It will take you longer to design a high-converting squeeze page yourself, find images + a gift to give away, and also craft emails.
So do bear this in mind prior to joining.
#3: Specific Skills
These are the ‘Money Making Labs’ with literally TONS more video training on various Internet marketing topics.
Some videos give you more insights into what you’ve learned from the ’10 Minutes to Success’ course, and other tutorials show you other strategies.
For example, you’ll learn stuff on:
- Creating your own ebook
- WordPress Wealth
- Understanding Facebook Ads
- And Russell Brunson’s ClickFunnels made simple, to name a few topics.
There are 16 Labs in total – each one with a big bunch of step-by-step tutorials.
In my opinion, there’s a lot of great training to absorb and implement here.
#4: I Love Traffic
Chris walks you through a bunch of techniques for driving free and paid traffic to your squeeze page and/or blog.
(If you don’t have a blog, you can build a free website in just 60 seconds here).
His step-by-step tutorials cover:
Facebook comments, creating effective Facebook Ads, forum marketing, guest blogging, and video marketing.
Upside: These methods can really work a treat for sending targeted visitors to your site.
Even using just one could send a boat load of visitors your direction.
I especially recommend leveraging Facebook ads, guest blogging, and video marketing (if you’re not camera shy).
Downside: Some “free” traffic methods can become tedious and you’ll find yourself chained to the computer.
Especially when it comes to using social media and forums.
In addition, Chris doesn’t teach you how to do SEO, use Instagram, dive into the world of PPC (Pay Per Click) or even Solo Ads.
Which are the best ways of driving traffic that converts.
#5: Goodies
Under the Goodies tab, you’ll find all sorts of special treats for going hand-in-hand with building your biz and making it successful.
There’s the Done-For-You department.
This gives you profitable ‘personal development, getting published on Amazon, learning to fly, creating your own movie, copywriting secrets, and online traffic secrets’ niches.
You also get pre-built 3-page squeeze pages with images, 5 pre-written autoresponder emails, and free gifts for your subscribers.
Tools & Resources – Chris has listed some top tools that he personally uses for his biz.
Webinar Recordings – You’ll get access to a bunch of 30-minute Express Webinar recordings.
My favorite one is DEFINITELY Chris grilling the legendary Gary Vaynerchuk! HA!
Chris’s Blog – The guy gives you access to his blog where he shares his first 11-month online journey with you.
Where you’ll discover all the highs and lows he experienced when creating a biz.
Thought For The Day – This section gives you a bunch of various uplifting videos.
Ones, that are designed to motivate and inspire you on your own journey to success.
What Support Do You Get Inside Chris Farrell Membership?
If you’re ever stuck in a rut with any part of ‘CFM’, there’s a few support options available.
Firstly, you can drop by the members’ forum to ask questions and pick a few brains.
Downside: There’s hardly any engagement happening within the discussions which is pretty disappointing.
Even one of the “HOT” topics still only had “3 replies” almost 4 months later!! LOL.
But having said that, new members do introduce themselves, even if most members make little effort to politely say “Hello” back.
Secondly, you can submit a support ticket to the ‘CFM’ team.
There’s a third option – if you can call it support!
After the training videos within ’10 Minutes to Success’, Chris encourages members to leave their feedback via Facebook comment feeds.
Downside: The comments from peeps are very few and far between, and there’s little to no “community engagement” happening.
In addition, there’s no member “live chat” feature either.
Having an “active” community really makes the world of difference because it’s one of the critical components of success.
So this is a key issue which Chris really needs to address.
In fact, he, himself, also needs to start engaging with community members to get the ball rolling.
How Much is Chris Farrell Membership Gonna Cost You?
To get started will only cost $4.95 for 7 days.
After that, it’s either $37/month or $297/year which is very reasonable for the amount of value you get.
The only thing I disliked is when you sign up for the trial…
Chris immediately hits you with a $47 one-time upsell – an 81-page secret report that gives you 27 of his high-converting emails.
Additionally, there’s a ‘4 Week Fast Track’ program. But there’s no price tag mentioned because doors are closed (at the time of writing).
On top of those costs, you’ll need to invest extra cash in the tools and services you need + paid traffic (if you choose that route).
PROS vs CONS of Chris Farrell Membership
PROS
- The membership is cheap as chips
- Heaps of great easy-to-follow step-by-step tutorials
- Chris offers ‘Done-For-You’ campaigns
- He recommends some great resources + ways to drive traffic
- Help & support is provided
- The potential for noobs to earn a full-time income online
- A 30-day money back guarantee is offered
- Mr. Farrell is a successful, friendly & likable guy – I got attached to him quickly, being an Englishman myself lol
CONS
- There’s no free trial offered
- Members make very little to no effort to engage & support one another – Chris needs to shove a rocket up his community’s ass!
- You’ll need to splash out on tools/services/paid traffic to build a biz & make money
- There’s no training on other crucial traffic-generation methods (SEO, PPC, Solo Ads & Instagram)
Final Take: Is Chris Farrell Membership Worth it?…
Despite its faults and being in need of numerous improvements.
Overall, I think Chris Farrell Membership is a top-notch training platform that makes it simple and easy for newbies to get rolling.
I especially like that Chris gives you ‘Done-For-You’ campaigns.
And he also allows you to build a business within a niche of your choice, which seems to be rare these days with programs in the ‘MMO’ niche.
So yeah, ‘CFM’ deserves a MEGA thumb’s up for its AWESOMENESS!
Now, as for it being “voted #1” – I think it’s debatable since Chris doesn’t clarify “who” actually voted it as the best.
Plus there are better programs that have the edge over ‘CFM’.
Secondly, as for the “one-stop-shop for success” thing…
Chris doesn’t actually supply the tools/services you need, and his community support isn’t exactly up to par either.
In my opinion, an “all-in-one” platform should equip you with EVERYTHING you need for success…
The whole shebang – including an “active” community.
But CFM is still worth a shot, never the less.
Want a Much Better “All in One” Affiliate Marketing Platform?
Don’t get me wrong, I think CFM is a brill place for newbies to start learning the ropes of affiliate marketing.
But it just falls short in some areas, especially when it comes to support.
But there are better alternatives that plug those gaps that will enable you to earn a full-time income from affiliate marketing.
One awesome alternative in particular provides you with websites, tools, step-by-step training & 24/7 support from a huge community.
If all these recources soundamazing for building a successful online Biz from scratch…

Dear Neil,
Thanks for the great and in-depth review of Chris Farrell Membership. I got new insights from your review of the product and very helpful. Reading reviews will help us to know about the products and will save our time.
Thanks for helping many people via your review. I will come back to your website to learn more information. Wishing you all success!
Your Friend,
Paul
Hey, Paul!
It’s no trouble at all, and happy to hear it! 😀
Indeed, it’s important to seek out the thorough reviews so you can get a good grasp of money-making programs before you commit.
Great, look forward to your next visit!
Cheers,
Neil
Hello, Neil. It’s nice to see that there are legit training programs online and I am pleased to read that Chris Farrell is one of them. I saw a promo he did once and thought he sounded like a good guy so I am pleased that turned out to be right because I enjoyed his style of teaching.
I also found Wealthy Affiliate at around the same time and went that way instead but was tempted by Chris Farrell also.
What’s important to realize is that no matter which program anyone chooses that the programs are NOT magic and you will still need to put in the work to become a success, as with anything in life.
It’s unfortunate that too many believe (due to promotion) that making money online is easy and can happen overnight with very little work.
You have an excellent review here and it goes into a fair amount of detail as what you can expect should you join up and it’s always nice having options. Cheers 🙂
Hi, Peter!
I think with the number of scams on the internet, it’s certainly refreshing for people to know that LEGIT programs, like CFM and the WA, do exist!
Yeah, Chris really comes across as a great man, looking out for people’s interests. I feel like I already have a connection with him since I’m English too lol.
They are both great programs, and you did make an Awesome choice with WA, considering the many scams that could have sucked you in. I also totally agree with the “hard work” part because the internet isn’t some fantasy world for instant wealth!
Thanks, Peter! People always have a choice when it comes to building an online business. It’s all about making the right decision to join an honest program that provides a person with everything they need for online success, otherwise, it’s a complete waste of time and money!
Dear, Neil
Excellent review of Chris Farrell Membership. It is refreshing to hear about an online training program that is not a scam and actually teaches you something.
No hype as you say. No overnight riches. However, as you say, everything you need to learn should be included in the one program at just a small cost.
Lucinda
Hey, Lucinda!
Thanks very much! 😀
I couldn’t agree more! With the sheer volume of scammy sites out there, it’s very difficult to know what to trust nowadays.
When most newbies realize that “hard work” is required to build a successful business, then they are less likely to fall for the “get-rich-quick” garbage circulating the web.
CFM is a 100% LEGIT program. Although you have to grab the tools you need from other places and the community isn’t exactly buzzing, CFM’s training is totally worth the cost, in my opinion.
Hi Neil,
Your Chris Farrell Membership Review is right on, and with the right rating, I might add. Chris has an honest program and I think it has some excellent value as far as honest internet marketing educational programs go.
Which can be refreshing these days in a sea of online scams. The mentor me up-sell turned me off too, but it would be fun to hear from those that have paid it to see if it’s worth its value. Sometimes it can help if you know a lot of SEO tricks when you’re starting a new niche website/online business.
New internet marketers can make a lot of mistakes when first starting out, believe me, I know 😉
My advice to those that are looking into Chris Farrell’s program is to first visit Wealthy Affiliate for their free trial membership. It’s easily the best online training program around for those that want to make money online.
That’s my 2 cents Neil.
Todd
Hello, Todd!
Cheers, man! My aim is always to award programs/products with the appropriate ratings they deserve.
Online scams definitely give the internet a bad reputation, so I agree with you there!
The “Mentor Me” coaching is very expensive (almost $1K), so my guess is you probably won’t hear many success stories from newbies lol. Not everyone has that kinda cash going spare.
SEO sure gives you a head start in the online business world because it’s one of the best strategies for driving A LOT of free traffic.
SNAP, it seems we have both made mistakes as online biz owners!
But if we hadn’t of, then we wouldn’t be the successful people we are today because failure isn’t a step backward, but a leap forward to success – providing you’re determined not to quit.
Thanks for your advice and also recommending WA. 🙂
Neil
Hi Neil,
I did try the 7-day trial a while back. At the time I found that the course wasn’t bad, although what I most enjoyed was Chris Farrell’s style of presentation. So cool and good-humored, I would have almost joined the program just to see more of his videos.
Anyways, there were a few good points I found. One thing I particularly liked there was even a lesson for people who didn’t really even know how to use a computer, I don’t know if it still exists, but I thought it was good as it could open up a whole new world for these people. All in all, there was a lot of great training that was specially geared to newbies.
What I didn’t like was that the focus of the training was on creating 3-page websites. These may work, but as I was more interested in creating a blog, I didn’t stay around too long. In addition, there were some expenses that were not included in the monthly fee, but were necessary, hosting and an autoresponder. So your monthly payment of $37 would become more than $60 per month. Is it still the same?
In the end, I found your recommended internet marketing training program, Wealthy Affiliate, where there is excellent training and also all the tools you need are included. I’m really pleased I continued my search after CFM!
All the best,
Peter
Hello, Peter!
That’s great, and I’m glad you found some value in CFM during your trial period 😀
Learning basic PC skills through CFM is a bonus, but people can find a lot of free “PC basics” lessons from Youtube, etc.
I see what you’re saying because there is more flexibility and more of a bigger opportunity to make money online when it comes to blogging. So blogging definitely gets the “Thumb’s Up” from me.
You do still need to invest extra money into web hosting and an autoresponder, but it’s a shame they aren’t already included in the monthly or yearly cost of CFM, which would be a big benefit to members.
AWESOME, it sounds to me like you made the right choice with WA!
I wish you success as well!
Neil
Great review about Chris Farrell and his membership site.
I have heard Chris Farrell mentioned by several people before but I never knew much of the details.
Judging by your review it seems like a fairly decent program to learn about internet marketing.
The yearly and monthly membership price seems pretty reasonable as well, however, as you point out the $997 upsell is a bit of a concern.
You could probably find a fair bit of value in his program, however, after finding Wealthy Affiliate and joining their monthly membership about 18 months ago, I believe that they offer far more value for money by far!
Thanks for this review, Neil 🙂
~John
Thank You, John!
Yep, CFM is a great training program to learn from. However, the “upsell” is a big chunk of change for boosting your success with the platform.
Chris does offer plenty of value within his program, and I do agree with you on WA too. WOW, 18 months is a long time with WA, and sure proved that it works! 🙂
You’re welcome!
Neil
Great review Neil! Chris Farrell is, of course, one of the best programs out there and provides you with all you need to build a website and start earning a consistent revenue from it. It’s a fact that Chris helped thousands of people quit their 9-5 job and I know that he is an excellent teacher.
Not every internet marketer can be a good teacher and I know many of them who are making money themselves but fail to help others do the same. As I can see you recommend and prefer Wealthy Affiliate over Chris Farrell. Can you please explain why you think it’s better than CFM?
Cheers, Rufat! Thanks for sharing your views on CFM and I agree that the guy is well known in the field of helping others to make money online. 😀
Yes, in my opinion, there are some Gurus who claim to be helpful experts but are only in the game to fill their own pockets with cash.
I much prefer WA over CFM because WA teaches more marketing strategies, has an active community of over 1 MILLION members who provide 24/7 support, and also gives you websites/tools/services included with your membership. In addition, there are “ZERO” upsells with WA.
So I don’t think you need any more reasons why I vote WA as #1!
I almost signed up for this Chris Farrell program when I was trying to get started online but ended up coming across WA, which at the time seemed to be a better fit.
I’m curious, though, what is offered in this $1K upsell for the “Mentor Me” program? Is that a recurring annual fee or is it a one-time upgrade?
Hey, Kevin, It’s Awesome that you found WA! 🙂
“Mentor Me” is an accelerated training program where Chris teaches you far more advanced online business skills for making money within your first 6 weeks.
I would sure like to think that Chris charges only a one-time fee for his advanced program because people would have to be crazy to pay a renewal fee each year.
In my opinion, you can succeed with your basic CFM training, so the upsell isn’t needed. But having said that, I guess you could invest your profits into the $1K success-booster, so you’re not out of pocket.
I have heard about Chris’s program before but I have never tried it, and likely I never will. I really don’t agree with the upsell.
If the mentor me program has additional information it should be a part of the core product. If it is him coaching you, then he should be on his site helping members anyway, at least that is my opinion.
Hey, Adrian! I respect your decision and the reasons why CFM isn’t for you.
Some people will share the same thoughts as you (myself included) when it comes to the program/upsell because everything should be included with your membership fees. When you invest $100s ON TOP of your membership, that’s when CFM gets expensive.
Neil
Chris really does come across as a genuinely nice guy that wants to help and it’s always good when people are honest about the work that it takes to become successful online. He is without a doubt an expert as you point in his story of success.
The only real drawback I’d say of the Chris Farrell Membership is the random upsell for the Mentor Me that is pretty expensive.
I do agree with you on Chris being a great guy and also a mentor! 🙂
It’s a rare thing these days to hear experts being upfront about what it requires to build a successful online business, so it’s refreshing to have someone like Chris lead the way without all the “hype”.
Yeah, the upsell is definitely a major turn-off, which is a shame for newbies who really don’t have that kind of money to spend.
Hi Neil,
This seems like a well laid out course on the basics of how to make money online without the usual BS and empty promises you see from most internet marketing gurus out there. Like many other programs, it seems to leave out a few key ingredients and it comes with some hefty upsells which I didn’t like.
One of the most annoying ones is the $997 mentoring program. This tactic is used by a majority of IM gurus and many people who are just getting started usually fall for it because they think it’s necessary to be successful online.
In my opinion, this is just taking advantage of people who don’t know any better and it’s just wrong. Especially when you can get unlimited help and support all from 1 place for just pennies a day with Wealthy Affiliate.
Overall this seems like an OK program to get started with if you stick with the core program and avoid the upsells. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this info together and for sharing it with everyone here.
Cheers
Your Friend, Scott
Hello, Scott!
Yes, CFM does come across like that, and Chris is the face of his own platform which is great for building trust and relationships with people.
I do agree that the program does lack a few of the essentials, and I personally hate upsells with these training platforms because they are totally unnecessary, in my book.
The mentoring program is way overpriced, so I don’t agree with it either.
I think we have all been there at some point because I have also fallen for many high priced training sites, products and tools when I first started my online money making days. But I soon learned the hard way, and I now know “what is” and “what isn’t” required to build a successful business.
Unfortunately, there will always be Gurus and especially scammers after people’s money.
I also agree when it comes to WA because WA truly gives folks everything they need for online success, and for very little money too!
You’re very welcome, Scott!
Your buddy, Neil 😉
I had heard of the Chris Farrell Membership and you do a great job of outlining and highlighting the biggest pros and cons of the program.
I do agree the Wealthy Affiliate is a better option than most.
Thanks, Jazleigh!
I think it’s important to show both the POSITIVES and NEGATIVES of CFM and in fact, any program because it gives folks a balanced review which really helps with better decision-making, in my opinion.
WA is a true gem!
