What’s SERPs.com All About?
The SERPs (SP) software is a daily rank tracking and analytics tool for helping you monitor search engine results from Google and Yahoo on a larger scale.
If you’re finding it a struggle to discover the essential in-depth information you need for your website/blog when it comes to keyword research, tracking keywords, and analyzing the data – then ‘SP’ can be a big help.
After testing the tool out for myself, it really does give you some amazing insights into your site’s performance, in my opinion.
Who Will Mostly Benefit From it?
‘SP’ is ideal for static website owners and also bloggers who work from home or away.
In addition, SEO experts and also agencies can use the tool for helping their clients to become more profitable with their sites.
However, if you’re a newbie, then you may want to learn the basics of SEO before taking ‘SP’ for a spin, so you know how the features and metrics work.
What Training & Tools Can You Access?
When it comes to the training, you can access a knowledge base, there are topics written by the community for ideas, and there’s also a library of guides and “How To” articles on various SEO and marketing subjects.
As for the tools and features, here’s what you get:
#1: The Dashboard
You can see all kinds of fun website data here.
There’s the option to compare your organic keyword data from today to the same day last week, compare your organic percentage change over the last 7 days, and see the percentage of non-paid traffic over the last 30 days.
Additionally, you can view the number of sites linking to yours, which is updated every month with the results delivered by MOZ.
To add the cherry on top, the domain authority of your site is also recorded and scored out of 100.
And if the glacier cherry still isn’t enough for your sweet tooth…
You can view your top 14 keywords in Google during the last 24 hours, actual visitors vs. predicted visitors during the last 30 days, top 5 visited pages over the past 30 days, and the number of organic visitors over a 90-day period.
#2: Keywords
I loved this feature because you’re able to track your keywords one-by-one or by the bulk load.
You simply enter multiple phrases at once, and your rankings can be checked nationally or use all locations on Google or Yahoo for desktop, mobile or tablet.
The feature also allows you to upload CSV or Excel files up to a maximum of 5,000 phrases.
The results show the rankings that have moved up or down, phrases that stayed put, #1 page Google rankings, and also the number of keywords currently being tracked since the last rank position update.
#3: Links
This tool is pretty straightforward.
You enter the URL of your domain or an exact page URL (such as a blog post, and then hit the “Fetch” button to discover the number of social shares, page and domain authority, page speed, and also other websites linking back.
#4: Tests
Grab your laboratory coat, goggles, and gloves for testing like a mad scientist! LOL.
It’s an opportunity to have a chosen web page tested for different SEO events – title tags, free/paid images, media and press release links, meta descriptions, and image alt tags.
Generally, it takes a few days for the software feature to gather the necessary data it needs for checking how the URL is performing and whether improvements need to be made.
#5: Pages
Track specific results for either starred or all the pages of your website within different time-frame options.
You’ll view daily traffic numbers, the percentage change in search engine visitors compared to 7 days ago, page authority, external links, websites linking in, LIKES on Facebook, +1’s on Google Plus, and estimated keyword referrals.
Do You Get Help & Support?
If you require help with the software, there’s a choice of:
- Contacting support with a message
- Leaving the community your feedback
- Using the knowledge base
- Making a phone call to the team
- Or using the live chat option
So you certainly have a number of options. Personally, I think live chat is always the best one to pick because it’s just quick and easy.
How Much Does it Cost to Use?
The great thing about ‘SP’ is that it allows you to try it out for a good 30 days for free before having to part with a single cent.
Then you have 3 payment plans available, depending on your needs.
#1: Small Business = $49/month.
#2: Agency = $99/month.
#3: Enterprise = ?
For the third plan, you’ll need to contact the support team. But you can bet your sweet bippy it’s gonna cost an arm and a leg.
PROS vs CONS of ‘SP’
PROS
- There’s a 30-day free trial
- Uncover the necessary website SEO data you need
- A valuable resource library of “How To” articles
- Automatically import your Google Analytics data
- Plenty of support options are available
- Easily cancel your trial at any time
CONS
- Your credit card details are required for the free trial
- May not be practical for a novice
Final Take: Is SERPs Worth it?…
The ‘SP’ software definitely gives you some invaluable insights into your website’s/blog’s performance in the Google and Yahoo search engines.
Overall, I think it’s a great tool to help you understand where improvements need to be made on your site for better rankings in the main search engines.
And the price point for the “Small Business” level is also reasonable, in my opinion.
However, if you have little experience in the field of Search Engine Optimization, then you’ll probably find SERPs metrics hard to grasp.
So if you’re a noob, then learn the basics of SEO first, so you can make the most of the software’s free trial.

If you wanna share any questions or thoughts on the ‘SP’ software, we’d LOVE to hear your comments below…
SERPs is too pricey for me at this time. It does give you loads of information though. However, if I was to purchase this at this price a least for me, I would want it to be 100% accurate. Do you think that would be too much to ask?
The free tools, for now, are appropriate for me.
I guess SERPs can be a little costly for the marketers on budgets.
I do see where you’re coming from because if you’re putting your online success in the hands of any SEO tool and paying for the services, then it’s only right that it should work 100%. So no, you’re definitely not asking too much.
If you’re on a budget, then yeah, free tools will be your best options for the time being.
I have found nothing to satisfy my needs with SERPs – an inexpensive ranking and analytics tool that’s simple and accurate, with upgrades if I want them; aside from using GA and Webmaster Tools which are free of course.
There’s nothing for the small budding entrepreneur.
I use Jaaxy for keyword research and there is a rank checker included. I absolutely love it for the keywords.
As online marketers and business owners, I guess we all have different needs when it comes to SEO. So SERPs may not be everyone’s cup of tea. But in my opinion, it’s a great tool – even for those just getting started.
Good on ya, Joanne! Jaaxy is Amazeballs!
I think I could be considered a newbie. I’m just getting started into SERPs.
I don’t think I would be paying this amount for such an advanced tool. But price aside, I would say it’s a pretty good tool to track a website’s data, (if you would take the occasional bug off).
Each and every one of us has to start at the bottom when it comes to learning about search engine optimization and building a business online.
I guess some noobs will consider SERPs as a little pricey, but most SEO tools are these days.
Indeed, the tool does a great job and is worth taking for a 30-day spin.
Hi Neil,
I am very happy that you created this post as I’ve heard of SERPs before. After reading your article I must say that I will definitely consider using it in the future.
I have already bookmarked the page to be able to go back and use as a reference whenever my website grows enough to be able to warrant investment in SEO tracking software such as this.
Hello, Alec!
And I’m happy you’ve left your feedback too! 🙂
That’s great, SERPs will definitely be a benefit to your online biz when you’re ready.
Curious, I did not see any functionality related to analyzing competitor website SEO. But for the prices asked, I would think there would be a great deal more bang for the buck. Unless I am totally missing something.
Also, it would be interesting to see who SERPs competition is. I have used lessor products to evaluate my website SEO. They did a good job telling me what’s wrong. But failed miserably in telling me how to fix the problems.
If you wanted to, you could use the “Links” feature to spy on your competition a little. 😉 But SERPs could add a more advanced feature for in-depth SEO data on your competitors, in my opinion.
This is also an awesome feature that Jaaxy provides! But SERPs does give you great value some money, especially since the price has now dropped.
To be honest, with the rivalry between all the SEO tools, it’s difficult to find the answer for you. I guess you’ll just have to try a bunch of tools until you find the one you’re happy with.
This sounds like a great tool to use, especially for newbies who are still learning the ropes of SEO.
I do agree with you that we should learn more about how SEO and Google Analytics works before spending money on SERPs. Are there any cheaper or better alternatives?
Yeah, I think SERPs can benefit newcomers to SEO.
In my experience with the SEO world, I have found cheaper tools. But if you’re looking for the cheapest and best one, then click here.
I’m less than a year in as far as internet experienced. I’m currently doing affiliate marketing and have one large website and two small, new ones. I’m getting up in the rankings but not really making a ton of money yet, so for now, I can’t justify the cost of SERPs.
However, I’m definitely saving this in my favorites because I can see how extremely valuable and time-saving this would be for me in the future. Honestly, I wish I could afford to start using it right now!
But patience… I’m sure soon I’ll be able to get it.
Great going, and you’ve certainly got some IM experience under your belt, Debra! 🙂
I’m happy to hear you’re making progress with your websites in Google, and it will just be a matter of time until you start making awesome money from the internet when you keep working at your biz.
Perhaps set purchasing SERPs as one of your goals when you’ve got the profits rolling in for your websites. This software certainly offers value and some great insights into your online work.
Indeed, good things come to the hardworking and patient ones.
Your detailed review on SERPs is helpful for checking SEO results. The best thing what I love about SERPs is the trial.
That’s awesome, Kinjal! 😀
I’m glad you gained value from my review. It’s certainly great that you can try out the tool for a month before deciding to purchase a plan. Although, it does need your credit card details beforehand which is something I dislike.
