See my #1 recommended keyword and SEO tool – the one which I use for getting blog content ranked on the first pages of the search engines.

What’s RankingCoach All About, Huh?
RankingCoach is a state-of-the-art DIY software tool used to help optimize your website for the best results when it comes to SEO.
If you’re crying out for search engine rankings, visitors and sales…
The tool will recommend the correct step-by-step tasks to initiate.
The software will:
- Match keywords with your business
- Analyze your website’s presence on the web
- Teach you how to optimize your site via video tutorials
- Provide you with actionable tasks
- Show you important in-depth insights & where your content ranks for keywords
- Monitor your competition’s progress
- Link up to your Google Analytics account
Plus, the software performs a basic health check of your website/blog.
This is to see whether it gets the green light from an SEO standpoint before you start any tasks.
As you can see below, one of my older WordPress blogs was good to go in that department.
Seems like the perfect recipe for SEO success, right?
So ‘RC’ certainly gives you access to a bunch of cool features as a complete SEO notice.
Features, that I’ll be walking you through in more detail very shortly.
Who is RankingCoach Ideal For Though?
‘RC’ is a simple tool that has actually been designed with the novice website owner, blogger, and marketer in mind.
In my opinion, it’s one of the easiest user-friendly SEO platforms I’ve ever come across.
Even a kid or your aunt Mavis could use it!
But having said that, even seasoned marketers can take advantage of the software too.
What Can RankingCoach do For You?
When it comes to ranking your website’s content on the front pages of Google, Bing, and Yahoo…
There’s a bunch of features that can help you to get the job done.
#1: Keyword Research – The Most Important Part
The keyword research algorithm uncovers numerous keyword suggestion ideas based on your website.
For example, here are some results based on a pizza niche site.
The phrases are displayed in the forms of different sized red, amber, and green bubbles.
These are to signify search term traffic numbers and whether terms are easy, OK, and hard to rank for.
However, I just think this feature is probably a bit too basic.
Because it doesn’t clarify HOW it goes about determining the competition or search metrics.
So you just have to the tool’s word for it that those competition levels and search volumes are accurate.
#2: Online Directories
Here, you’ll find some of the biggest and most important directories for submitting your website to and getting it found on the web.
Your site is awarded an optimization percentage score as well as a score out of 22 for directory presence.
Obviously, the higher the number, the more awesome your progress.
In my opinion, this is great if you’re doing “local marketing”.
But if you’re building out an affiliate blog like THIS one (ZeroToAffiliateHero) that gets displayed to the whole world on Google…
I don’t think you really need to list your site on directories.
#3: Rank Information
Discover your Google ranking positions on a day-to-day basis for multiple keywords in one place.
This data makes it extremely easy to view your results and how your web-pages are progressing.
#4: Local Ranking Data
There’s the opportunity to find out just how your content is ranking for chosen keywords.
Ones, in your local town, city, neighboring areas or even nationwide, for that matter.
But in my opinion, this feature is unnecessary for bloggers in particular, because their online businesses are live worldwide.
Well, unless they decide to stay local lol.
#5: Monitor Rankings
By using this feature…
Your competition will be seeing your tail-lights as you put your pedal to the metal like a Fast & Furious street racer! 😉
Here, you can pretty much track the progress of your rivals when it comes to their keywords and rankings.
So you can eventually sneakily claim their winning Google positions and lift the trophy. Well, a digital one anyway.
#6: Google Analytics
Automatically integrate your Google Analytics account with the software.
This is so you can have access to all the data you need under one roof instead of opening up multiple tabs.
In addition to the features, you’ll get walk-through tutorials on how to use them.
Plus, there are step-by-step video tutorials to watch and implement.
Tutorials, especially for WordPress bloggers that show you how to optimize your blog for SEO and which plugins to install, etc.
However, if you wanna learn the ins and outs of WordPress when it comes to:
Starting a blog, SEO strategies, keywords, and writing high-quality engaging content for #1 rankings and traffic for a succsessful online Biz…

Is Help & Support Available Inside RankingCoach?
Where help and support is concerned with ‘RC’, you have various options to choose from.
Firstly, there’s a FAQ page. But let’s face it, these things are pretty boring lol.
Secondly, you can submit a form on the contact page.
Thirdly, there’s the opportunity to connect with the team through the live chat feature.
Which, in my opinion, is always the quickest form of support with ANY software tool, not just ‘RC’.
How Much Does RankingCoach Cost?
There are 2 membership options depending on your requirements as an online marketer.
Standard membership costs $29.95 each month.
But you do get to take standard level for a 14-day free spin, beforehand.
Agency membership will be charged $129.95 every month.
In my opinion, the standard option isn’t a bad price for newbies – considering there are many pricey keyword tools on the market.
In my experience, Long Tail Pro is another great cost-effective keyword tool that you might also wanna check out.
You’re welcome!
PROS vs CONS
PROS
- It comes with a 14-day free trial
- Standard membership is cheap and affordable
- Very user-friendly and simple to use for beginners
- Doesn’t require downloading on to your computer
- All the SEO features you need for monitoring progress
- Displays keyword suggestions with difficulty levels
- Walk-through video tutorials are provided
- Live support available
- Ideal for both static website owners & bloggers
CONS
- Credit card or PayPal details are required for the trial
- Agency membership is on the expensive side
- The keyword research function is too basic – It needs to give you more ideas & extra data for top rankings. See the essential metrics you need here!
Final Thoughts: Is RankingCoach Worth it?…
RankingCoach is such a simple, easy, and fun way to do SEO for your website or blog, in my book.
I especially like the fact that you get step-by-step training on using the features + getting your WordPress blog SEO ready.
And keeps you heading in the right direction with a checklist to follow too.
It’s an ideal tool for both newbies and seasoned marketers, and I think it can have some sort of positive impact on your WordPress blog rankings in Google.
But with that said, it’s only half the battle from a blogging standpoint because there’s more to SEO than meets the eye.
‘RC’ may help you to set up your blog ready for SEO and learn the ropes.
But it doesn’t teach you other important search engine ranking factors.
Ones, like doing in-depth keyword research, writing high-quality content, and interlinking your blog posts, to name a few aspects.

If you have any questions or thoughts on ‘RC’, we’d LOVE to hear your comments below…
SEO Powersuite is also a great choice if you aren’t having the budget for purchasing from paid services. Although, I personally love Ahrefs (used the trial for 2 weeks).
SEO Powersuite sounds great, and I’ll check that one out. I’ve tried Ahrefs in the past but it’s such a complicated tool to understand (particularly for a newbie).
But glad you’re loving the tool and appreciate the feedback.
I’ve heard all about Ranking Coach, so this article interested me and I am glad I came across your website. We all want good SEO rankings for sure. I like that it has a 14-day trial.
The only downside is that you have to remember to cancel if you decide you don’t want it, and I am sure that is why they grab your credit card information up front!
I’m happy to hear it and also glad to have you on my site too, Matt’s mom! LOL 😀
We sure do want high rankings in the search engines because not only does it give us the opportunity to help people online in our niches but we have the potential earn a full-time income from doing so.
It really is worth taking RC up on its 14-day trial, and I see your point with remembering to cancel. It could be a marketing technique, who knows.
But you could always set yourself a reminder on your smartphone or record your trial end date on a calendar so you don’t forget.
SEO is so important for having a successful website or blog. Without employing good SEO tactics you won’t be found on Google. Google is getting cleverer as time passes which is good in the long run.
I personally use Jaaxy and feel that few products can beat this incredible tool. Thanks for your review on RankingCoach.
Search Engine Optimization certainly is, Celeste! How would online business owners cope without the power of search engines like Google?
I agree because although “content” is what Google cares about for keeping visitors happy, you also need to implement “keywords” in order for good rankings that drive traffic and sales.
Nobody will ever outsmart the team at Google, even the lazy marketers who are continually searching for loopholes to rank higher lol.
Indeed, Jaaxy is ace! 😀
No worries!
Thanks, Neil! Very informing review of Ranking Coach. I would like to check the software out, especially since they have a 14-day free trial. You said that they are very simple to use, requiring no background or training, and that appeals to me.
It’s always nice to hear about an honest and effective DIY-SEO tool.
You are very welcome, Sam! 🙂
Yeah, go for it! RC is a great tool to utilize for insights into your site’s content. With the 2 weeks free trial, you have absolutely nothing to lose.
The software’s very user-friendly and you’ll find your experience a thoroughly enjoyable one. I agree because decent SEO tools can be hard to come by these days.
It’s a pleasure to help you!
Hey thanks for doing this review on Ranking Coach. Jaaxy is the only keyword tool I use and there is no reason to look elsewhere as far as I’m concerned.
Although RC sounds easy to use and effective in finding low competition keywords, I would have to say that Jaaxy is #1 in my books!
You’re welcome, Brandon!
It’s great to connect with yet another user of the Jaaxy research platform! 😀
I’m also on the same page as you when it comes to Jaaxy because I use the Enterprise version which does everything I need it to, and very quickly too!
However, RC can be a great tool for those internet marketers who are probably wanting different insights and also various tasks to perform.
Thank you for your honest review of Ranking Coach, just like you, I am also using Jaaxy as my number one keyword research tool and I love it, Jaaxy gives me accurate and low competition keywords every day.
There are probably other tools out there that do almost the same, but I love Jaaxy and recommend it to anyone that would care to listen.
No problem, Roy!
Fantastic! It’s awesome to know that I’m not the only online marketer who’s having success with Jaaxy. 😀
RC does give you keyword ideas and even competition levels for the terms, but RC’s keyword and competition features are very basic and don’t give you all the in-depth data you need for ranking your content in Google.
You’ll be amazed at how many SEO tools there are, but Jaaxy tops the lot, in my experience.
Ranking Coach is a viable and effective DIY SEO option. The beautiful thing about it is the instructional videos that walk the user thru every single step. Even as an agency owner, I recommend it.
Yup, I sure agree with you on RC, Mark! 🙂
What I love about the software is that it’s so user-friendly for online marketing newbies. With a lot of SEO platforms out there, they can be difficult to understand, not to mention expensive too.
Great Tool for first time SEO optimizer! It was a breeze to set-up and you really have nothing to lose with the free trial. Next keyword tool to experiment with is Jaaxy… I’ve heard nothing but great things.
Glad to hear you’ve had an awesome experience with RC. 🙂
Jaaxy is awesome, and what you’ve heard about it is all true!
