Howdy, welcome to my review of Bring The Fresh!
Is this program really gonna help bring you a full-time income on the web as an affiliate marketer?
Or is it as stale as a dried up slice of bread, huh?
Get stuck into THIS honest review if you wanna find out the truth…
Quick Overview
Name: Bring The Fresh.
Website: bringthefresh.com.
Price: $47 lifetime fee + upsells.
Owner: Kelly Felix (AKA “The Rich Jerk”).
Score: 6/10.
My Verdict: Legit (Recommended).
Summary:
Bring The Fresh is a platform that offers some tools, training, and support for building a successful business.
Resources, in terms of an ebook, videos, audios, case studies, a profit-ready WordPress website, and a community, to name a handful
However, the only major downside is that it seriously needs updating.
Because Kelly is still using some old school tactics, especially “Black Hat” ones that can harm your online biz when it comes to SEO.
Furthermore, some of the upsells are quite pricey, in my opinion – which I talk more about in my review.
** IMPORTANT UPDATE: Bring The Fresh has now closed its doors **
So it seems that ‘BTF’ has now gone stale afterall. *BIG SIGH*
But on a positive note…

What is Bring The Fresh About, You Ask?
Kelly Felix (founder of the famous Rich Jerk, if you remember him lol) – started up Bring The Fresh in the year 2000.
It’s basically an “already prepared for you online business” that is a piece of website building software.
One, that allows you to earn an income in terms of affiliate commissions without any technical skills required.
You are also given some level of training on how to build your business as well as support.
These aspects are discussed in more detail within my review.
But before we dive into the ins and outs of the platform…
Who Can Benefit From Bring The Fresh?
The program is intended for newbies like YOU who want to learn how to create a successful affiliate marketing Biz from scratch.
As long as you have an internet connection, PC/laptop, and also a desire to become financially free, then ‘BTF’ is gonna be right up your street.
Which, goes without saying I guess lol.
However, that’s only part of the equation because HARD WORK is also a requirement if you want online success.
And that’s whether you roll with ‘BFT’ or any DFY system like 12 Minute Affiliate or Commission Hero, for example.
Because “push button” shortcuts to riches only exist in fairy tales, I’m afraid.
What Training & Tools Are Provided Inside Bring The Fresh?
Once you decide to jump on board Kelly’s program, you will gain access to the following:
- A Fast Start Guide that contains an eBook, videos, audios and also interviews with the leading internet marketers who are on top of the game
- Real Case Studies that basically cover discussions with real people who have struggled before they succeeded online
- Unique Custom Tools & Resources to help you succeed as an online business owner
- A Ready Built WordPress Website to make money online as an affiliate marketer
In addition, there are training bonuses such as learning about:
- The best affiliate programs to join
- The best products to promote
- How the most successful internet Entrepreneurs are cashing in
- And you can also gain special access to a launch jacking program to top things off
However, I’m not a fan of the whole launch jacking thing because I think it’s a bad way to turn buck from a newbie standpoint.
But each to their own, I guess.
What About Bring The Fresh Help & Support?
The great thing is that you can gain access to a members’ forum of over 20,000+ marketers if you have any questions…
Or need help with any aspect of ‘BTF’ or building out your business.
In addition to that, Kelly is sometimes available to lend a helping hand within the forum.
And you can also contact customer support if you’re having any issues with anything.
So there are some cool options available.
What’s The Cost of Bring The Fresh?
The cost is $47 for lifetime access.
But you’re then faced with the option of investing your money into further monthly and one off upsells that include “exclusive” groups, products and services.
One of which, for example, is called ‘Project Profits’ and is a monthly fee of $197!
However, one thing you should try to avoid is signing up for additional mentoring packages.
Because, in the past, some members paid for high ticket mentoring which led to some complaints from disgruntled folks.
Personally, I don’t agree with forking out for additional mentoring training.
Because any legitimate training platform should provide ALL the resources needed for a single monthly or annual cost.
Wouldn’t you agree?
This is the beauty of Wealthy Affiliate (my top pick) – you get everything under one roof. 😉
PROS vs CONS of Bring The Fresh
PROS
- You receive tuition on how to easily put a website together
- The online platform gives you step-by-step lessons
- It has a 20,000+ member strong forum
- The membership fee has dropped from what it used to cost
- There’s a 60-day money back Guarantee
- The owner has a great track record
CONS
- Most of the information is through webinars, which isn’t ideal for newbies
- No idea whether the $47 fee will be transferred to future updated versions of BTF
- Not every essential component is included for a successful internet biz
- The members’ area is a tad confusing
- The forum can be overwhelming
- There’s no warning on the sales page about upsells
- There’s no free trial available
- The program hasn’t been updated for a while
Final Thoughts: Is Bring The Fresh Worth it?…
From my perspective, Bring The Fresh is a legit internet marketing training program…
That can help you to succeed as an affiliate marketer and earn an income.
There is a BUT, though…
The training isn’t exactly in line with today’s internet marketing changes and could potentially do harm to your online biz in the long term. So just bear this in mind.
If you are still thinking of getting started with ‘BTF’, I would also highly suggest sticking with the basic membership option.
Especially if you’re new to the concept of online marketing because things can get a little overwhelming for you.
Plus as a newbie, you don’t really wanna be leaving yourself out-of-pocket too much before your online biz is even set up.
Overall, I think ‘BTF’ is a good platform for learning new internet marketing skills and making some money.
But What’s a Better Money-Making Option, Huh?
‘BTF’ offers you some potential, don’t get me wrong.
But there are certain areas to it that are flawed – as I’ve already discussed above.
So if you want a cheaper and better platform that not only provides you with free SiteRubix websites and step-by-step training…
But also 24/7 support from 2-million members for creating a successful affiliate marketing Biz around your passion…

I think your review of BTF is way too kind. On the other hand, your #1 recommendation is spot on and is where I finally learned how to make money online.
Here’s a little more about my experience with BTF. I joined Bring The Fresh when it first came out. It was awful, just awful. I’m told they have gone through changes since then, but I still do not trust them.
I was an absolute newbie and only joined because someone I trusted recommended them. Big mistake!
I was out $600 after getting hammered by One Time Offers and Upsells!
One time offers and upsells are unethical! They are nothing but greedy money grabs. If a vendor has OTOs and upsells, they only want your money. Run the other way!
Once I was in the BTF site, the training was very confusing and many of the training videos were a complete waste of time.
In some of the videos, the trainer kept sniffing like he had a cold or had something in his nose he didn’t want to lose, like coke. Even if it wasn’t coke, the trainer should have had the decency to blow his nose off camera.
Stay away from BTF. It’s a waste of money and effort.
Check out the #1 Recommendation. The Wealthy Affiliate program is free to join. You can’t lose.
Thanks for your feedback on BTF, G.C.Horton!
Sweet, that’s truly Awesome how WA has shown you the road to earning an income online! 😀
I’m sorry that your experience with BTF was a really negative one, and I’m sure the program has made a few updates since then, as most training platforms do have new updates and even makeovers at some point down the road. However, I don’t blame you for not trusting BTF if you had a bad time with the program to begin with.
OUCH! $600 is a high amount of money to invest, and especially if you didn’t earn it back online from the training and/or tools provided by Felix. I completely understand where you’re coming from with expensive upsells because I allowed Empower Network to rip me off with its scammy products and upsells that just didn’t work. I lost $1,300 on the Empower Network program!!!
It seems like you got badly burned by the BTF, and I’m hoping that many of the problems you had faced are now corrected by the affiliate training program. HA HA… now, that is funny! Perhaps the owner had man-flu that day?! LOL.
Again, Thank You for sharing your experiences with BTF and I also appreciate your recommendation of WA.
Hi Neil,
Nice review of Bring the Fresh. I had checked them out as well but prefer the more complete training of Wealthy Affiliate. It’s a bit cheaper on a monthly basis, no up-sells, and a much larger community and support than BTF.
Although I do think there are some good aspects of the training and it’s pretty easy to check out to gain a few new skills for those interested. But WA is the more complete training program, although I would give BTF a slightly higher rating than 6/10.
That’s just me because of all the darn online scams out there, I think real programs like WA and BTF deserve some decent recognition, even in light of the up-sells, which always turn me off.
Thanks,
Todd
Hello, Todd!
Cheers, dude!
Yep, there’s nothing I don’t agree on with what you have said about the WA platform because you’re spot on! There are a few good points with BTF, and the main reasons why I rated the program with a lowish score of 6 is due to no free trial offered, expensive upsells, and some parts of the program being outdated. If the owner of BTF addressed these issues, I may give the program a rating of 7 or 8 (at a push). 😛
Internet scams do a good job of irritating the heck out of people, and my only wish is for somebody to wipe them clean off the net to make way for the REAL LEGIT online business building platforms such as WA.
Neil
Hi Neil,
Thanks for this review, I now know what is involved with Bring the Fresh and it seems to be a program that provides some decent training. Although with all the upsells I don’t know if it’s really a program I can trust. Nonetheless, the program does have some good points, $47 for lifetime access seems reasonable and the fact that the program is updated is certainly better than some programs.
However, the upsells are really a big negative for me and it’s a shame there is no free trial. What I look for from an internet marketing training program is step by step training. Hence, if most of the training is through webinars I imagine it will be much harder to follow and make progress, especially for newbies.
Still, with all the scams online it’s always nice to hear of a legitimate affiliate training program on the internet, but your #1 recommendation with no upsells sounds more interesting.
Thanks for the post,
Peter
Hello, Peter!
You are welcome! There is some good training with BTF, and most people feel exactly the same way you do on the upsells, which is understandable! TRUST is a key factor when it comes to training programs of this sort, so BTF really has to pull something out of the hat (so to speak) if the owner wants to build solid relationships with the members.
Yeah, the startup cost and the fresh training can definitely encourage people to become new members of BTF. The upsells and there not being a free trial would also drive some people away, so I guess you would have to weigh up the pros and cons of BTF before making the right kind of decision to join or not.
Step-By-Step training is a “must” for anyone who wants to succeed on the web and make money, so I know where you’re coming from with webinars as they can be hit and miss with folks.
It’s very good to hear you have an interest in WA. You should definitely take WA for a test drive!
No problem! Neil.
Hello Neil,
Upsell is a word that bugs me. Especially with products that suppose to help you. People expect to receive the product/service in full right from the beginning. I understand that options will always be available to simplify or speed up work but upsells should be left at that.
I also agree with you on the use of webinars. They can be helpful on a personal level, but as a source for study, I can’t see it flying well. Unless you’re on a perfect schedule it wouldn’t seem very personal.
The price isn’t bad but I think there are better things available. So far your number 1 recommendation stands as the best value. Bring the Fresh is not what I’m looking for, thanks for clearly stating the cons.
Hey, Damien!
Upsells also bugs the heck out of other people too, so you’re not alone on that one! Yeah, I agree because I think it’s wrong that the owners of training programs such as BTF aren’t always honest and upfront about “all” the membership costs involved, and it’s a huge disappointment when you’re faced with paying out for extra upgrades, products, and services that don’t always work out.
Webinars aren’t ideal because they do tend to lack “step-by-step” training, which is an important element for all newbies if they are to successfully make money online.
There certainly are better alternatives on the internet, and I’m glad you like the sound of WA. 🙂
Not a problem, and I hope you do manage to find what you’re looking for online, Damien!
Great review about Bring the Fresh Neil!
I like the idea of the free trial, but once again all these costly upsells are a cause for concern!
I don’t like the idea of the information being all webinars either. Can you access the replays?
These days people are so busy, it is hard to be on live webinars.
Anyway, it sounds to me that there are better options out there to learn how to build a website and a business online!
Thanks for your review.
~John
Thank You, John!
Yep, I’m totally with you on the upsells that BTF offers. Webinars aren’t always everyone’s cup of tea, but from what I remember, you can replay the webinars as many times as you want to allow the information to sink in.
I hear what you’re saying as I don’t always have the time to watch webinars either, but thank goodness for the replays that we can watch at times that suit us.
There are certainly better training options online that provide all the resources, tools and help in one place, AND without Upsells too!
You’re welcome, John!
Neil
Great review, bring the fresh sounds like an interesting business idea.
What exactly do the up-sells include? What do you pay all that money for?
Whats lacking in their mentoring? Is it lack of knowledge? Communication?
I also heard that the original founders of BTF walked away from the project shortly after it was started, surely this isn’t a good sign for the business?
Thank You, Aiden!
Some of the main upsells that are offered by BTF are “Done For You Websites”, “BTF Backlinks” which is an outdated method that can lead to your website getting slapped by Google, and also “Project Profits” too.
What BTF really lacks in is private coaching, live chat for 24/7 support, free websites, and a keyword research tool.
I have heard on the grapevine that the owners of BTF had split up in 2013, leaving only Kelly Felix in charge of BTF by himself! I do agree that this isn’t good for business because it may raise a few questions and concerns with both members of BTF and newbies who are wanting to join, but the program is still active and hasn’t been pulled down which is a good sign.
If there’s anything I’ve missed out here, please do let me know. Neil
Neil,
I have heard of Bring The Fresh several times. Some things were good, most were not so good. It’s always difficult to tell if a program has any real “meat” to it from the sales copy, so I always check reviews. Your review is very thorough and highlights exactly what I was looking for. I don’t think I’ll be trying BTF now. Thanks very much for a great article!
Cheers,
pj
Hello, PJ!
With any online marketing training program, you will always come across Positive and Negative thoughts from peoples experiences, and they do play a big role in helping you to reach the right decision. Yeah, some sales pages are loaded with that much hype, flashy colors and “Too Good To Be True” promises, that it can be very tough to select a LEGIT Affiliate Marketing training course to join. So you’re doing the right thing by reading reviews first before parting with cash for membership fees.
It’s entirely your decision when it comes to the BTF program, and you’re very welcome! Neil
Excellent review Neil. I appreciate the thorough review you have done and I have all the information I need to make an educated decision on whether or not to give Bring The Fresh a try. Thanks for laying out the cost information out clearly. I hate reading through a whole presentation only to find out at the end that it’s way more expensive than what they initially describe to you.
Thanks, William!
I’m very glad to hear my review of BTF has helped you make the right decision when it comes to the training program. I know exactly how you feel about prices which is why I like to make my reviews as transparent as possible. Cheers for your feedback! Neil.
Hi Neil. Thanks for a great review. You mention that Bring The Fresh provides a website. I assume then that you mean only 1 website? Then can one get by with the $47 a month without taking any other options or will it be possible to get by on that package only?
I see your #1 recommendation gives 2 free websites and has a free starter package. Can someone really start a business online with that free starter membership? Are the tools there to use to set up for free? Or will you have to go for the paid membership for this?
The Premium membership for Wealthy Affiliate is $49, nearly the same as BTF and you can have unlimited websites with WA.
It looks like a no-brainer there that you receive a lot more value for your money with WA?
Hello, Lynne! It is my pleasure 🙂
Thanks for your questions, and there are so many of them lol! So I will answer them to the best of my knowledge and in order.
1: Unfortunately, BTF offers no free websites. You must pay for your “done for you” website.
2: Yep, anyone can start an online business with WA when they follow and apply the 10 Free lessons on setting up a website. And Yes, you have access to some basic tools, but if you want full access to all the tools, advanced step-by-step training and unlimited help and support at WA – you will have to upgrade to Premium Membership at $49/month or $359/year. It really depends on how serious you are at making money online and how badly you want success, at the end of the day. But WA is so worth the cost, in my opinion.
3: You can build up to 25 WordPress websites, along with email addresses, email forwarding options, and you will receive many other awesome website features too when you become a premium member of WA!
If you read my review of Wealthy Affiliate, you will discover tons of fantastic benefits, and way too many to list. You really have nothing to lose with WA because everything you need for success online is built into one incredible training platform at a very low affordable price for everybody.
Cheers! Neil.
Neil,
Thanks for this post.
From reading your review, I have to say that Bring The Fresh is an okay way to get started. I’m sure that if I would have found it before I found WA, I probably would have joined.
I’m really grateful that I’m now with WA, even though I know there are other decent programs out there.
Cheers,
Robert
You’re very welcome, Robert!
Well, people do say that things happen for a very good reason, so maybe you were meant to find Wealthy Affiliate first! That’s great to hear, and yeah, there are other great affiliate training platforms, but WA comes first place, in my opinion.
Not a problem! Neil.
Hi Neil,
Thank you for your thorough review. I’ve done my share of bouncing around different companies. A few things I’ve learned are if you are not into it 100%, and neglect to exercise patience spanning over several months, you’ll be most likely disappointed.
I find your input great since I’ve not yet mingled with Bring the Fresh. Thank you.
Hey, Brian!
It’s my pleasure, man! 🙂 Haven’t we all!? LOL. I think many refer to what you’re saying as “shiny object syndrome”, where you can’t help jumping from one golden opportunity to the next. It’s certainly a way to fail online and never succeed at all.
If you want success online, you should stick with one LEGIT training program, follow the training and keep applying it over a period of time until you start to make money online, and then still keep moving forward to expand your internet business even more.
Glad to hear my review has helped!
Neil
Hi Neil, Your review on bring the fresh is very honest. As there are many online scammers, people willing to start an online business would surely get benefited from your review. I think a comparison between BTF and other genuine sites will greatly help the viewers to have a choice.
Hey, Manimekalai!
Thanks for saying so! 😀 Yep, the internet is certainly flooded by scams, so all newbies must be on guard when surfing the web, at all times! I also think the comparison table will be of great benefit.
Hi Neil,
Many thanks indeed for your review on Bring The Fresh.
So it sounds like you would get value for the $47 one time fee, however you would be swamped with upsell offers all the time after that.
What are the forms of these upsell offers?
Are they easy to ignore?
Kind Regards,
David
Hello, David!
No problem at all, man!
Yes, $47 sure is a figure that’s appealing to new potential members of BTF but the upgrades definitely do let the program down. I will have to re-visit BT to check out its most recent upgrade offers and update my review accordingly.
No upsell is easy to avoid with any training program because they are worded in such a way that they hypnotize you into pulling out your credit card LOL.
Neil
Thanks for your honest feedback, and clear delineation of the pros and cons to Bring the Fresh. I think the 60-day money back guarantee is one of the most helpful pros. However, it seems like there’s quite a long list of cons.
Perhaps this platform would serve to increase its enrollment if they offered a truly free trial. I think your suggestion of sticking with the basic membership until you actually have personal proof of concept is spot on. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on BTF.
It’s a pleasure, Ciandress!
Yeah, the 60-day guarantee is certainly a great benefit when it comes to BTF. However, as I’ve been gaining more experience in the world of internet marketing, “60-day guarantees” are now usually offered by online scam sites.
The BTF cons can be discouraging for members, and I agree with you on the free trial because it wouldn’t hurt anyone! By starting with the basic membership level gives you the opportunity to test the program’s potential before fully committing yourself.
You’re welcome!
