Cashcrate Review

Quick Overview:

Name: CashCrate (CC).

Website: cashcrate.com (visit website).

Cost: Free.

Owner: Joe Coleman.

My Score: 5/10.

But before getting the lowdown…

But if you’re just after a fun way of making some pocket change, then see Swagbucks (my #1 GPT choice).

Welcome to CashCrate, What’s it All About?

CashCrate is an a ‘Get Paid To’ (GPT) platform that was born in 2006.

And rewards you for signing up for offers, participating in research surveys and viewing videos.

So, unfortunately, completing tasks won’t exactly get you that dream Condo in New York.

Or even that luxurious holiday home in Malibu LOL.

It’s simply an opportunity for those who wanna turn their spare time into a little pocket cash or even a gift card once in a while.

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking: “Damn it, that sucks!!!”

But what ‘CC’ does offer is a referral program that allows you to earn a few extra dollars more than the task-doers.

Which we’ll get into shortly.

A Closer Look at The Money-Making Tasks Inside CashCrate

Once you sign up to ‘CC’, you immediately get offered an opportunity to earn a 0.50 cents bonus.

By answering a number of personal questions about yourself.

Let’s see the other ways you’re gonna turn a buck or two:

#1: Offers

There are various free and paid offers you can sign up for.

Offers

But unluckily, to reap the bigger rewards, you’ll be required to splash out cash and also meet other terms and conditions.

That’s the catch with offers. UGH.

The companies certainly don’t make things easy for you, do they?

#2: Surveys

There’s a mixture of surveys ranging from 5 to 20 minutes to fill out for various companies.

Surveys

But the majority of surveys don’t exactly pay you that well and some also only allow you to take 1 per day.

If you wanna make $1 – $3 for a survey, you’ll be required to take a longer one of 7 to 20 minutes.

However, I found very few of these bigger ones available.

The other thing about sharing your opinions is that the process can become monotonous after a short while.

But having said all that – some ‘CC’ members’ do appear to do well with surveys.

So I’m assuming they’re attached to their keyboards/mobile devices’ day and night.

#3: Videos & More

What videos?! LOL.

When I looked under this tab, there were a bunch of offers and surveys to take, but not one single video to watch.

If they’re gonna give you the option for getting paid to view videos, they should at least make the effort to actually include them.

“Disappointing” is the word I’m looking for!

#4: Games

You can apparently make money from playing games.

Games

There are 12 games in total: Golf Solitaire, Snake Fish, and Wrecked Angles are a few examples.

But how much you can earn is unclear.

Plus, no matter what game I clicked on and whether I chose “Play Daily Tournament” or “See All Tournaments”…

I got sent back to the ‘CC’ homepage.

Not a single game was accessible.

Why even give you the option of having fun if ‘CC’ intends to “play” its own games?!

#5: Contests

‘CC’ allows you to win various amounts of $ cash prizes by participating in weekly, monthly, and special contests.

But to compete with other members’ and stand a chance at winning something…

You can bet your bottom dollar that you’ll have to spend a lot of time doing tasks.

In which case, it will be way more beneficial for you to start an online business and turn your time into a REAL income.

#6: Refer Others

If you’re looking for the best way to make money with ‘CC’, this is it!

When you reel in new members’ using your unique affiliate link…

You’ll get up to 20% of the cash they make from tasks + a percentage of what their referrals earn.

In addition, once every referral of yours reaches $10 in earnings, you get $3 as a bonus.

If you invite just “family & friends”, you’ll make a few extra dollars at best.

But when you build a blog and learn how to promote ‘CC’ effectively to the masses through Google and other search engines…

You could potentially make some great profit.

How do The CashCrate Payments Work?

Unfortunately, you must meet the minimum threshold of $20 to get paid from ‘CC’, which could take you short while to reach that point.

Your payments are sent by actual check in the post.

I don’t know about you, but I prefer to get paid via PayPal (which should be an option).

Alternatively, you can redeem your cash or points for Amazon, Starbucks, and iTunes gift cards, to name a few.

All cards range from $10 – $100, so you’ve the option to continue working for bigger rewards if you wish.

Do You Get Help & Support Inside CashCrate?

To help you start off on the right foot with ‘CC’, there are a couple of quick tutorial videos.

One on getting started (obviously lol) and then another on the referral program.

In addition, there’s a “How To” guide which covers the tasks.

When it comes to actual support…

There are forums to connect with other members’, a FAQ page, and also a contact form to message the team.

PROS vs CONS of CashCrate

PROS

  • Join the program for free
  • Get an easy 0.50 cents bonus when you start
  • Basic training is provided
  • A good level of support is available
  • The potential to make good money from referrals

CONS

  • You must earn at least $20 before cashing out
  • There’s no option to get paid via PayPal
  • Your personal details are required upon sign up
  • Some surveys are limited + low paying + tedious
  • You’ve gotta fork out for some offers to get bigger rewards
  • Video & game tasks are non-existent
  • It’s not a great use of your time (unless you have a blog & refer others)

Final Thoughts: Is CashCrate Worth it?…

A Big Thumbs UpCashCrate is certainly LEGIT, especially after seeing the wall of payment proof posts from other members’.

I do like the fact that basic training is provided on getting to grips with the platform.

And there’s also a decent level of support with a community forum included as well.

Plus the referral program presents you with a real opportunity to cash in with the ‘GPT’ site.

So I think it’s only fair that ‘CC’ gets a big thumbs up.

But on the other hand, the money from doing surveys really isn’t worth the time and effort you invest, and they are so boring!

Secondly, you shouldn’t have to “spend” money on offers just to make some in return.

It’s a pointless process, in my opinion.

And finally, it’s as if the program’s still under construction.

Because there were no videos or games to access (at the time of writing this review).

Do I recommend ‘CC’? YES and NO.
