Howdy, welcome to my review of Patric Chan’s CB Passive Income!
Is it really gonna be your pathway to generating wealth on the internet or is it a huge disappointment from the get-go?
Get the answer you need in this honest and unbiased blog post…
Quick Overview
Name: CB Passive Income.
Website: cbpassiveincome.com.
Price: $37/month or $97 for lifetime + upsell + ad expenses.
Owner: Patric Chan.
My Score: 6/10.
Verdict: In my opinion, Mr. Chan has done a good job at setting up a “Done-For-You” system that can generate an income.
For the system to work though, it’s your responsibility to follow his training for sending targeted traffic to your online biz.
But before diving into this FULL review…
See the #1 option for making money online – A platform which gives you EVERYTHING you need for turning your hobby or passion into a successful Affiliate Marketing Biz.
What’s CB Passive Income All About?
CB Passive Income (CPI) is referred to as an online “business in a box” – helping you to generate a sustainable residual income as an affiliate of ClickBank and any other affiliate program of your choice.
In a nutshell, Patric has designed a squeeze page for you and also takes care of your email subscribers as well as promotional follow-up emails with your affiliate links embedded into the product recommendations.
You simply send traffic to your page and let his system handle the rest.
On the sales page of ‘CPI’, Patric also makes it clear that he is a reputable marketer, and even Russell Brunson (co-founder of the ClickFunnels sales funnel builder) has a few great words to say about the guy.
So you know the system is LEGIT, right off the bat.
It’s not another dirty rotten scam like Copy My Commissions, Steal My System, and Copy My Cashflow, to name a few, you’ll be pleased to know.
BUT ‘CPI’ is far from perfect because some folks have complained about earlier versions of the system. They said the squeeze pages did a poor job at gathering leads and producing sales.
Yet, others have said that they’ve made some money with the system.
It sounds like a case of apples vs oranges lol.
Who Will Benefit From ‘CPI’?
The program can be suitable for any affiliate marketing newbie to plug into a pre-built system that not only helps to build a list of subscribers but also automatically emails them with offers.
In my opinion, it’s just a quick and easy way to get an online business set up for those who lack the skills when it comes to internet marketing.
But having said that, even seasoned marketers might also wanna take Chan’s system for a spin. I guess it’s for anyone wanting an income.
What Training/Resources do You Get?
When you join ‘CPI’, there’s a 3-part PDF checklist to read through before starting out with the promotion of your “secret web page” for building your subscriber list and making money.
You’ll learn:
- How To Make Money Online and About Clickbank
- How To do Internet Marketing
- Using ‘CPI’ as The Shortcut
And then it’s on to learning about sending 2 different types of visitors to your squeeze page:
#1 Paid Traffic promotion
Here, you’ll download a PDF manual on how to build a mailing list fast with solo ads.
There are also 3 training videos on placing PPC ads on Bing, and a quick video on using free keyword generator tools to find keywords for your ad campaigns.
#2 Free Traffic Promotion
There are various videos and checklists on generating traffic from social media platforms such as Pinterest and Twitter, as well as from forums.
BUT this section really annoyed the hell out of me and also slowed down my computer because unfortunately, all 3 videos were all set to “auto-play” at the same time. GRRR!!
It sure takes “information overload” to a whole new level LOL.
HOWEVER, when it comes to the free and paid traffic training, there needs to be more meat on the bone because I don’t think Patric is being thorough enough.
In addition to the 2 training sections, there’s an advanced link tracking guide and webinars on getting started as well as accelerating your income.
Every month there’s also new promotion training delivered to your email inbox.
When it comes to the resources, there are a few landing pages for different offers to choose for building your biz, the option to connect your own Autoresponder to your pages, and you can also track your leads plus view the email addresses of your subscribers.
Is Help & Support at Hand?
If you’re in need of support, you can request it Monday – Saturday by submitting an email ticket to the team via the FAQ page.
In addition, you have the chance to make a personal connection with Patric Chan himself through his personal or official Facebook fan pages.
How Much Does Patric’s System Cost?
You can gain access for $47/month or you have the option to pay a one-time fee of $97.
There’s an optional upsell – $47/month for the “Inner Circle Club” also referred to as the “Fast Cash Series”, which teaches you how to make money as fast as possible in just days or weeks from buying domains at $0.98 and flipping them for profits.
However, there will also be extra advertising fees to consider if you’re prepared to pay for solo ads and run ad campaigns on Bing.
You can easily rack up $100s in advertising when first starting out with the system. But if you get the ads right, you can make a lot of profit that will cover your expenses.
PROS vs CONS of ‘CPI’
PROS
- The system is fully set up for you
- Some step-by-step training & resources provided
- The option to integrate your own Autoresponder
- 30 pre-written follow-up emails if you wanna run your own campaigns
- You have 60 days to get your money back
- Patric is a reputable author and internet marketer
- A great starting point for internet and affiliate marketers
- You get some free bonuses
- Can make you a profitable affiliate
CONS
- Patric says he’ll do all the hard work for “free” – BUT you must pay for his system!
- He says you “don’t need to learn internet marketing” – BUT skills are required to drive traffic!
- From personal experience, ClickBank sells a number of shoddy products in the MMO niche
- The sales page makes the system seem almost too easy
- There will be additional costs for paid ads
- Although it offers a 60-day money back guarantee – it’s usually a tactic implemented by poor-quality programs
Final Thoughts: Is CB Passive Income Worth it?…
When it comes to ‘CPI’, Patric Chan clearly sticks to his end of the bargain by creating a system that does most of the hard work for you.
But it will be your job to send “targeted” traffic in order to build your own list and earn affiliate commissions.
The best thing about the ‘CPI’ system is that it will assist you in building a residual income online via ongoing automatic emails sent out to your subscribers with ClickBank offers.
In addition, Patric gives you the choice to build your own personal Aweber, GetResponse or any other Autoresponder opt-in list so you can earn a bigger income from your own email campaigns.
However, his training could do with a makeover because although there’s quite a bit of training in PDF checklist format, there needs to be more in-depth step-by-step video training on free or paid traffic.
Final Verdict: ‘CPI’ is a LEGIT platform.

Your Friend, Neil 😀
If you have any questions or thoughts that you’d like to share on ‘CPI’, we’d LOVE to hear your comments below…
Hey Neil,
Do you know if this CB Passive Income program teaches you how to effectively market with social media?
Hi James 🙂
It offers some social media traffic training but there’s not a lot of depth to it, to be quite honest.
Check out my social media articles if you want some guidance on various strategies.
The CB Passive income doesn’t really sound like my cup of tea. Especially when you put it up against Wealthy Affiliate. I like to be able to try things for free if I can just to get a taste or trial run if you will. Money back guarantees on products always have me thinking twice.
Each to their own I guess, David! LOL.
I agree… when it comes to WA, it’s certainly the better option. 😀 Same here because free trials also give you the opportunity to figure out whether programs are the right fit before handing over any payments.
I know exactly where you’re coming from, since 60-day money back promises can be offputting. ‘CPI’ would come across as a better quality program if Patric offered a 30-day guarantee instead, in my opinion.
Thanks for your CB Passive Income review but I have a question for you. Is this program for people in the USA or can anyone around the world use this program, and how can they benefit from CBPI?
It’s no problem at all, Derek. 🙂
I presume any English speaking person from any country can join the program because I couldn’t see any information stating otherwise. I guess as long as they have a bank account and can qualify for the ClickBank affiliate program, they’ll be able to use Patric’s system.
Patric gives you a number of squeeze pages for generating email leads and earning affiliate commissions from promoting CB products. He basically does everything for you apart from driving traffic which is gonna be your job.
In addition, if you’re a seasoned marketer, you can connect your own Autoresponder to Chan’s system and he gives you a bunch of pre-written emails for your subscribers too. This will allow you to promote other products to your list for extra income.
Good review on CB Passive Income but it’s not for me. How can I make $10,000 a month blogging with Wealthy Affiliate?
Thank You, Liam!
No problem, man! To earn that kinda monthly income with WA is possible, but you’ll have to work your ass off online.
To make $10K per month with your own free SiteRubix blog, you’ll need to follow the step-by-step training at WA and work consistently hard at publishing content as well as engaging with your audience for a number of months.
You won’t make big money right away, but if you put the work, you’ll be rewarded with a great monthly income further down the line. Blogging is more of a work NOW and make money LATER concept. 😀
Thanks for the thorough review. It sounds like CPI might work out quite expensive in the short term but eventually would lead to affiliate profits.
No worries, Jules!
Yeah, CPI will cost you a chunk of change during your first few months, especially if you’re gonna be investing in solo ads.
The program can be profitable in the long-run, but you must be prepared to be out-of-pocket for a short while when starting out.
