What’s Funnel University All About?
(FU) is a series of (step-by-step) funnel hacking cheat sheets for creating 7-figure sales funnels. When you subscribe to ‘FU’ – Russell will send you a new cheat sheet once a month.
Every issue that drops into your home’s mailbox covers a different type of funnel – from Ecommerce to local consulting to quizzes to health supplements.
These are a few examples.
What I especially love about ‘FU’ is that you also get INSTANT access to a free membership area that’s full to the brim of downloadable back issues + video lessons, scripts, tools and pre-built share funnels for plugging into your ClickFunnels account.
Plus, Mr. Brunson ships a bunch of cool freebie products to your home.
One awesome freebie, in particular, is ‘108 Proven Split Test Winners‘ which can be an absolute goldmine when it comes to funnel building.
Whatever type of online or offline business you have, you will definitely benefit from ‘FU’ because there are stacks of invaluable blueprints and resources for multiplying your income.
Let’s Dive in For a Closer Look at ‘FU’
While you’re waiting for your first issue of ‘FU’ + free goodies to arrive, Russell instantly gives you access to a membership area called ‘Funnel-U Labs’ (Underground Software Suite).
Inside, you’re gonna get your hands on a bunch of amazing resources for creating funnels that can turn traffic into conversions and profits:
#1: Generators
There are numerous funnel generators to choose from for instant surveys, video images, webinar chat, uploading files, generating headlines and also resizing images.
Russell also provides video walkthroughs on how to master each generator so you’re not stuck trying to figure each one out.
#2: ‘FU’ Back Issues
There are absolutely TONS of back issues to download in PDF format along with in-depth video tutorials on each and every style of funnel.
Russell not only walks you through the processes of how he created his own lucrative marketing funnels for his products like ‘Marketing In Your Car‘, ‘Funnel Graffiti‘, and ‘Expert Secrets‘.
(There’s no doubt the ‘DotCom Secrets‘ and ‘Funnel Hacker’s Cookbook‘ funnels will be there somewhere too. Not to metion one for Russell’s newest ‘10X Secrets Masterclass‘ product launch).
But he also shows you behind the scenes of Dollar Shave and Beard Club, Strength Camp, Kern Inner Circle, Supplement, Special Squeeze page, Order/OTO page, Summit, Invisible, High Ticket, and many more funnels.
I’m not gonna list em’ all because I don’t wanna spoil the surprise! 😉
In addition to the PDFs and videos, you get “Done-For-You” funnels that are ready to download to your ClickFunnels account. You simply edit and tweak the content to reflect your own product/service offers.
#3: CF Pro Tools Add-Ons
There are 40 add-ons that serve different functionality purposes for your funnels.
You can do all sorts of stuff like adding promo codes, cookie time buttons, calendars, multiple OTOs and bumps, etc. To activate them, you simply copy and paste the codes within your funnel pages.
Again, there are also in-depth training tutorials on how the features work and how to implement them.
#4: Sales Scripts
Russell gives you a bunch of scripts to download and even shows you how to use them via lengthy training videos.
You’ll get the following scripts/training for:
- Perfect Webinar
- Star, Story, Solution
- The OTO Bump
- Who, What, Why, How

- Perfect Webinar Funnel
In my opinion, the training’s high-quality and you get plenty of great insights into the various strategies that Russell uses for his funnels.

Final Thoughts: Is Funnel University Worth it?…
Out of all the training products I’ve bought from Brunson so far, I would say that ‘FU’ is definitely the best pick of the bunch because it’s like having a “business in a box”, in my opinion.
Russell not only provides you with a behind-the-curtain look at a different funnel each month, but you also get a dashboard area that’s choc a bloc with AMAZING PDFs, training videos, tools, scripts, slides, and even pre-built funnels.
The only real downside is that I had to fork out an extra 10 bucks on top of the original shipping cost for the freebies, GRRR!! LOL.
Simply put, you’re gonna be all geared up for making a lot of money through sales funnels and beating your competitors’.
Here’s to YOUR success…
Neil 😀
If you have any questions or thoughts, that you’d like to share on ‘FU’, we’d LOVE to hear from you below…
Hi Neil,
I am ever grateful to have landed on your page. Or am I… It has actually brought another bunch of questions that I hope you can answer.
So let me get this right. If I understand correctly, Funnel University is the training platform for ClickFunnels.
I have been looking into CF for a while now, I checked out their website and some reviews but never got around to either register or actually try it out for free. So I don’t really know much about it other than it is very popular with affiliate marketers that want to bring their business to the next level.
Now, Funnel University is something completely new to me. It’s the first time I hear about it today!
So I am a little confused as to where to start first. What should I do if I decide to try one, start with ClickFunnels or Funnel University? What is your opinion?
Thanks in advance!
Denis
Hey, Denis!
Yeah, you should be grateful! 😛 lol. But it’s great that you have questions because I LOVE em!
In my opinion, YES, Funnel University is THE resource you need for creating profitable ClickFunnels funnels. Don’t get me wrong, I think ALL of Russell’s funnel resources are amazing! But FU packs everything into one place.
To be honest, the best way to get acquainted with ClickFunnels is to take the 2-week free trial. Even if the software’s not your cup of tea, at least you can say you gave it a shot without it costing you a single penny.
Unless you’re seeking out funnel building software and/or resources, then it’s probably unlikely you’ll come across FU. Well, unless you do by chance like with this review lol.
In my opinion, you should start with both CF + FU at the same time. For starters, both offer 14-day free trials. Secondly, it will enable you to implement what you learn as you’re going along. And thirdly, you’ll be able to create a profitable funnel MUCH quicker than if you wasn’t plugged into FU. So there are plenty of advantages!
You’re welcome!
Neil
Hey Neil, Glad I found this article, I was actually looking into trying my luck with funnel sales, but had no idea where to start. I’m happy I found this program which seems to have everything you really need to get you started.
Brunson looks like he added a lot of content to his program and you went into great detail mentioning it, I am a bit concerned as you said that there is so much stuff it might get overwhelming, is there a specific path he tells you to follow or you just get bombarded with information and you decide where to start?
Will check this out, thank you for the information.
And I’m glad you made it, Victor! 🙂
The thing with sales funnel building software these days is that although builders provide some training on creating funnels, what they don’t teach you is HOW to make them “PROFITABLE” ones. So this is where Russell Brunson’s FU (among his other invaluable products) comes into play for putting you on the right track.
Indeed, FU certainly has all the training, resources and even ‘Done-For-You’ funnels you need for getting started on the right foot as well as creating a sustainable online Biz in the long term.
From my experience with FU, yes it’s overwhelming, to begin with, particularly from a newbie standpoint. But everything is broken down into sections which make things a little easier.
I don’t think there’s a specific starting point to follow since not every FU subscriber has the same business model and needs. So when it comes to the training videos inside the members’ area especially, it’s best to watch the one(s) that’s relevant to your business. And then watch other videos at your own leisure for a few more ideas and inspiration if needs be, in my opinion.
Awesome, man! Feel free to ask away if you have any more questions.
I’ve been really interested, and looking into monetizing my blog for quite some time now – I suppose the variety of funnel cheat sheets on offer here will give a blog owner 100’s of choices of products to promote?
I’m quite surprised that there is a 14 day trial on offer – I suppose you can grab a couple of free funnel setups in that time for free (it’s a win-win really!).
How did you find the complexity of the funnels on offer? Were they suitable for newbies?
That’s great, Chris! 🙂
Yeah certainly, affiliate marketers and bloggers can benefit from the cheat sheet ideas inside FU. I guess even as a blogger, you can implement certain strategies into your site, especially ones taught inside 108 Proven Split Test Winners.
Indeed, the free trial gives you plenty of time to take away some golden nuggets. However, that’s not to say you should take the free trial ONLY for that reason and then do a runner lol.
In my opinion, the training is relatively easy to follow for building your chosen funnel(s). Even the ‘Done-For-You’ funnels are easy because they’re simply “plug n’ play”. So yeah, I think FU is suitable for beginners.
So Funnel University is like a ClickFunnels training platform. I know Russell Brunson runs CF.
The “sales scripts” would be good to have, as copy that converts is like gold to any marketer, online or off. The 14-day free trial sounds good too, so no reason not to at least check it out further and see what it’s like.
It sounds like you think it’s pretty impressive, so I’m going to take a look at it. Cheers.
Yes, that is correct, Darren. 🙂
You do get some basic training on how to build your first funnel with the CF software. But with FU, Russell goes much deeper into showing you how every type of funnel works for making you profitable.
Indeed, the scripts certainly are an added bonus, especially when they save you time and money.
Yeah go for it – the 2-week trial is definitely worth it because you’ll get a TON of value!
Thanks for the detailed review of Funnel University. Based on the overtire given, it is clear that this is one well-packaged program worth exploring.
One of the most important aspects I like when looking at a program like this is step-by-step video training.
My question is on the membership for FU. Must I order the free bonuses?
No problem, Attlee!
After exploring FU myself, it’s certainly a fantastic funnel training platform that over-delivers, in my opinion.
Step-by-step video tutorials sure do help because they make learning much easier and also fun.
Yep, to get access to FU, it’s a requirement to pay shipping for your freebies.
But they are definitely invaluable resources that are worth it, especially when it comes to 108 Proven Split Test Winners. 😀
Hi, Neil. Quick question. Don’t you have to have quite a bit of website traffic to take advantage of sales funnels, or do they generate traffic in and of themselves? My website still is in the infant stages of traffic, so I’m not sure a sales funnel would work yet. I do have calls to action on my posts, but still not enough traffic to have much happen.
Hey, Grant!
Yes, if you want the most success from sales funnels – you’ll want to send as much targeted traffic as possible to your squeeze pages. If you know how to do SEO properly, then you can drive organic traffic from Google. Although, you can use other free organic methods like YouTube and social media.
But most funnel marketers I’ve come across tend to use paid traffic methods like solo ads, Facebook ads, and Instagram shoutouts, etc, because they’re quicker ways to drive traffic, build email lists and profit.
If you’re currently working on a blog, then it’s best to focus on that for the time being until it’s successful, and then dive into the funnel building arena.
Neil,
Thanks for your review because I am a newbie, and don’t have knowledge about sales funnels. As you said, I learn that the sales funnel technique helps the online and offline business development. This technique looks an entirely new subject to me and I have to learn about it.
But as I still did not reach a stage to reinvest in the business, I am looking for any other free platform to learn and implement. Could you suggest anything like that?
No problem, Prabakaran!
Us internet marketers always have to start off from the bottom with no skills. It’s the same with anything in life, but we learn along the way.
Once you learn how sales funnels work, you’ll understand how/why they can turn your business into a goldmine.
There are many different avenues for building a business on the internet. But in my marketing experience over the years, I’d say that Wealthy Affiliate is the best place to start with no money down, especially when you’re a total newbie. 🙂
Ahh, thanks Neil. It’s great that the content is evergreen. I thought the freebies arrived monthly and so did the associated shipping charge…lol. Okay, a one-time cost is reasonable then. Thanks for your fast response. ~Jude
No worries, Jude!
Indeed, evergreen is what you NEED because there are so many programs using outdated methods that come and go. I’ve experienced my fair share of these types of programs in the past. One minute I made money and the next minute I didn’t (due to internet marketing changes that the programs failed to adapt to).
If Russell charged monthly shipping (on top of the subscription fees) for every FU booklet he dispatched, I guess some folks would go cold turkey lol.
You’re welcome!
Thanks for this informative write-up, Neil. Sounds like Brunson is delivering good value for the price.
I’m a bit of a slow plodder when it comes to consuming information like this. My worry would be that by the time I got around to learn and put into action the information provided, those tactics would no longer be as viable.
Would you say the material provided is evergreen content, or are they strategies that might work today but maybe have a short lifespan.
Another question, are the free home delivered products ‘optional’ Because as you say at $20 per delivery can add up.
~Jude
It’s no problem at all, Jude!
Russell sure delivers value (just as he does with all of his products).
LOL – I guess we all have our own speeds when it comes to learning internet marketing. But the main thing is that you DO learn and implement the knowledge for success.
Nah, don’t worry about outdated training because everything Russell teaches you is “evergreen” – it’s gonna work for a long time to come. 🙂
Unfortunately, You don’t have a choice when it comes to the freebies with ‘FU’. So you will have to pay a one-time shipping fee of $20 when you signup for your free trial or invest in the 12-month subscription straight up. BUT on the flip side, the free products are highly valuable, so the shipping cost will pay for itself.
